Westport Woods Hotel & Spa

Excellent location: at first casual then atmosphere developed over the 3 days as they got to know us: very good room with great shower and restful over the woods: value was average, the food could be better presented: cleaning was grand and the room was ‘tidied’ while we were at breakfast: the hotel was beautifully quiet - it was hard to believe it was so full.

Great food and service. Lovely place to stay in the heart of Westport

Big beds and pillows were very comfortable, nice friendly pleasent staff in the canteen, gym and pool.

Gym could have more equipment, still you can do all the workouts

Unfortunately the front door entrance was under renovation. The receptionist never looked us in the eye upon checking in. The rooms are a bit outdated with no fridges. The building and gardens are lovely. Great location close to town of Westport.

Hotel is ideally located. Plenty of carpark space. Staff are very professional and polite. Staff members Aisling and Ricky stood out (all staff were excellent but I didn’t catch their names) for the way they made us feel welcome at a family get together! Hotel is well serviced and very clean.
