Disney Hotel Cheyenne

Clean & tidy, but the property needs some TLC Modernisation needed especially the bedrooms

It was a western theme which my children enjoyed.

The hotel was perfect distance to the parks and was so relaxing to come back to. I enjoyed my stay!

Good location, clean and adequate room , buffet breakfast nice .

The property was ok but there was mould in the bathroom and the bed sheets had yellow stains on them. I think the place needs sprucing up a bit

Comfort of room is average. Tricky/inconvenient to get to front of hotel/breakfast from the room. Breakfast is really mediocre for the price.

The hotel at best is a 2.5 star equivalent to a Comfort Inn or Extended Stay America. It was NOT worth paying $600 for 1 night. The breakfast at the Chuckwagon Cafe was a cattle call…food was cold and environment was one of those that you wanted to get in and get out. Overall, sorely disappointed about this Disney property. It’s a lower cost alternative than its Disneyland brand hotel (which we did stay at for the second night)…they tried with the western theme and some of it worked in the main buildings but the room buildings were basically comfort inns or worst. Shower had no water pressure, beds were hard and small…and it just looked like it was cheaply done. Once and done…never again.

The Main photo was what first attracted me to us staying there - the wild west (in a modern way). Its a lovely quiet village effectively and was just what we needed. The buffet meal on the evenings were great with so much choice.

Great spacious property, close to Disney with regular free shuttle bus. Woody themed room nice and bed mattress really comfortable after a day wandering around the park! Breakfast good quality but really busy as you might expect.

I have really mixed feelings writing this review as I so wanted it to be a magical experience, but it wasn't as good as it could have been. I went during a heatwave. I knew it was going to be hot so booked this hotel rather than Santa Fe as it had air con. Arrived to find hot air coming out of the air con. Complained. Maintenance came and said it was broken, now fixed, will take half an hour. Well it never kicked in. We had to sleep under wet towels, it was that hot. By the third day the air con was unbearable. I asked again for it to be looked at before we went to the park. When we returned it was hotter than outside so I complained again. I have been back two weeks and I am still waiting for the manager to contact me, who was meant to contact me on this third day. Maintenance came and said it was going to take 3 to 4 hours to fix but we could go to another room down the corridor. We agreed to move. We waited and waited for new cards. We rung again and were told they were ready but we would need to wait for someone to bring them. Eventually I gave up and went to get the cards. I picked up the keys and had no offer of help to move us. We started looking for the room, up and down the corridors, only to find it wasn't even in the same block which made the lack of offer to help even worse. We were now finally is a cool room but half the holiday had been ruined and was miserable. Breakfast and breakfast staff were fab though! I hope it is better for others.
