Pousada do Marvão - Charming Hotel

Acho que o hotel poderia ter nos avisado que estava tendo um evento no local e que nao poderiamos subir. Deixamos o carro no lado de fora e uma carrilha foi disponibilizada para pegar nossas malas, porem ninguem nos avisou que a carrilha nao era do hotel e que no dia seguinte eu teria que descer as malas sem ajuda. Nao quis entrar com o carro nas muralhas, pois o mesmo era grande e nao era meu. Ademais, no hoteis.com esse hotel aparecia com o nome "charming hotel", mas la nao tinha esse nome. Chsmava-se "pousada de santa maria de Marvão". Nao havia indicacao de charming hotel. Quando estavamos chegando e procurando o hotel, ninguem sabia o que era "charming hotel". A cama da direita do querto que fiquei (403) está rangendo muito e incomoda. O pequeno almoco estava excelente e os funcionarios sao corteses, simpaticos e cooperativos. O cafe da manha é muito bom e a vista do salao do cafe da manha é espetacular. De fato, a coisa mais relevante foi essa questao da mobilidade. Eu nao voltaria apenas por causa disso.

Hotel bem localizado, funcionários atenciosos, principalmente o Sr Jose, mas o estado do quarto deixava muito a desejar (ar condicionado não funcionava direito e armário com cheiro de mofo.). Valor muito caro pelo que é!

A Pousada jeleket kell keresni Marvao-ban, mert a szálloda neve nem simán "Pousada do Marvao", hanem "Pousada Santa Maria"-ként van kitáblázva a városkában mindenfelé. De azért meg lehet találni, és mennyire megérte keresgélni! A helyszín csodálatos, Marvao egy gránit sziklatömb tetején helyezkedik el, és a település közepén, a hegy felső része felé van maga a Pousada - ami szintén egy régi épület (illetve valójában kettő, amit egy kis hidacska is összeköt), hangulatos, kicsit régimódias berendezéssel. Szobát foglaltunk, de aznapi utolsó bechekkoló vendégekként egy lakosztályt kaptunk - külön szobával a lányunknak -, ami kényelmes volt, csöndes és teljesen lesötéthető, bár az ablakok az utcácskára néztek, nem a kilátásra. Viszont a reggelinél olyan gyönyörű panoráma tárult elénk Spanyolország irányába, ami bőven kárpótolt. A svédasztalos reggeli jó volt, és a szobánkban is volt Nespresso automata napi 2 ingyen kapszulával. A személyzet minden tagja rendes, segítőkész és barátságos, a kichekkolásnál készségesen segített a hölgy megkeresni és lefoglalni a következő szállásunkat is - egy másik Pousadában. :) Gyalosoan is könnyen elérhető a vár, illetve a városka többi nevezetessége, parkolni is lehet a városfalon belül több helyen is, (akár közel a pousada-hoz) de azért nem javaslom az igazán nagy autókat, mert a kisebbekkel is óvatosan kell manőverezni a szűk utcácskákon. Ha arrafelé járunk még valamikor, biztos megállunk majd megint egy éjszakára!

We love Marvao and the pousada is a great place to stay. On this visit we had a splendid room with balcony and amazing views across the border to Spain. The restaurant is recommended, both for breakfast and for dinner. All the staff we spoke with were friendly and welcoming. Parking can be a challenge but that just adds to the fun!

Parking was extremely difficult and not very close. But other than that, the location was great.

ホテルは旧市街にあります。城壁に登り、石畳の道を散歩しました。ホテルの夕食と朝食はおいしかったです。

Very picturesque and exceeded expectations. What a great mountain top retreat. Fantastic views of the country side. Tight driving to the top. Don't follow the GPS through the small village at the base, drive around or you may have two less mirrors on your car.

Sehr schön gelegen, Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche u Superausblick. Unbedingt Tisch im voraus reservieren, wenn möglich am Fenster. Zimmer hellhörig, bei Reservierung Zimmer im 1. OG angeben
