Ala Mar by the Sea

NO DECENT BREAKFAST!!

It was right across the beach and easy walking distance from the pier. The staff was fantastic, great customer service. There was also a daily wine tasting in the evenings and continental breakfast in the mornings.

The parking lot was a bit small, but we always found parking. The rooms were a bit on the slow end, also checking in is a little confusing, as the office is in the next building. But I would stay again.

They did not clean the room or leave any clean towels

blasting noises throughout the night, constant drip in shower faucet; unable to get a decent shower (shower head needs to be replaced); no TV; must have subscription to watch any channels. room was cold; heater inoperable. An additional $110.90 was added to my credit card after my bill of $342.50 already charged to my CC when I made my reservation. This was done after I checked-out; no front desk service would answer my call about this extra charge

Location

Very small room for 2 people, one can not get off the bed from right side. The room doesn’t smell good, need open the door to get fresh air. The cover of the toilet dirty. I have to clean myself. Two people only get one small plastic cup to clean teeth. Not even worth 100 dollars for stay. This is the motel. When I book, don’t tell me, only say “by the sea”.

The hotel lobby is very eclectic with amazing props and antiques. Lovely art. The pool and spa are small but comfortable.

Our room was very cramped with no place to hang up wet towels or bathing suits. No closet space.

Dålig frukost , Polhandukar fanns inte vid Polen, dåligt utrustat rum.

Perfect location, friendly staff and clean comfortable beds.

Older building with some minor broken things, still worth it
