Canyon Country Inn

This property is quaint, small, clean, & quiet. Though the property is a little dated everything worked great. Easy to get to the railroad station for the Polar Express and walking distance to shopping and dining. The property is also close to the canyon coaster where we went snow tubing. I highly recommend this property.

Location and price

No stairs, upstairs room ( where I was, was SO hot that we had to turn on the ac and ceiling fan. NO extra toilet paper. Overall cleanliness wasn’t great. Bathroom was dirty.

The outside looked cute and was a fairly good location.

Dirty floors, discolored shower curtain, dirty pillows and bed coverings, broken window, room was cold so they brought in a space heater. There was also never a front desk associate, if you called, they would arrive in about 10 minutes.

Rooms were large and comfortable. Good parking. Right in the middle of town. Close to everything.

Owner met us and checked us in. He was super pleasant. You really can't beat the location for the price. I really liked how they had the furniture set up in the room. It felt like we were sitting at home. It was very comfortable.

We were on the bottom floor next to the stairs which were loud. We were woken up around midnight and then again about 2:30 in the morning by our neighbors above coming in. We then could hear them above us moving around their room. The bed/mattress was literally sloping downhill. We slept with our heads at the foot of the bed.

It was what we expected. Good location.
