Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa

Front desk great, bartender wanted us to disappear, rude and unwelcoming.

Beautiful resort...beautiful ocean and bay reviews. Would like to go back when the weather is more agreeable to use of more of outdoor facilities.

Definitely not a solo destination as you are extremely secluded from the rest of the island. As a solo traveler perhaps you want somewhere where other points of interest are more easily accessible or where some of the bus routes may come across.

When we needed a short get away from a hectic Canadian winter, we chose Cambridge Beaches because we wanted to be close to the beach even if we knew it wasn't going to be too warm in February. We were looking for a property with villa type accommodations for some peace and quiet and a view; and most importantly, good food. We got all that and also, to our delight, truly wonderful and caring staff who went out of their way to make everything special for us. Cindy and the front desk team seemed to anticipate our every need and were fantastic helping us organize some sight seeing and great dining reservations at the local restaurants (if you go this time of year, check out the Restaurant Week offers). Despite there being some bad weather during out stay, we had plenty to do inside from afternoon tea to the spa, and the heated indoor pool and the gym were great too. On the warmer days, as it was -15 Celsius at home, sitting on our balcony looking at the sea in a hoodie was heaven in comparison, especially while treating ourselves to the excellent room service! The location is convenient to the Dockyards and transportation by ferry from there to Hamilton, or it is a short 15 minute walk to the bus stop. We look forward to returning again in the future, in the warmer months- and enjoying the beaches and the infinity pool.

A unique property with some amazing amenities and friendly staff. We enjoyed the hot tub and heated indoor pool. Our waterfront cottage had a great view. Some minor low season staffing issues left the phones unanswered and sometimes we had to hunt down staff. However the resort is historic, picturesque and worth the low price in the off-season.

A beautiful resort with drop dead gorgeous views. The staff were kind and helpful. A quiet and rejuvenating area of the world.

Really special resort on a tip of land, far removed from any distractions. Pricey but fantastic service. Food good but not unreal, highlights are the beaches, staff and rooms.

Stunning location, elegant hotel and spacious rooms. The breakfasts were the highlight for us and all the staff were incredibly friendly.

We stayed here as the final hotel in our stay in Bermuda having previously stayed at the Rosewood and Hamilton Princess. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which had a much more friendly family feel than the other 2 hotels. Breakfast was lovely, we had a beautiful room it was just a pity one of the restaurants was shut but we understood why. There was a wedding during our stay and at times the restaurant especially at breakfast felt a little noisy. All staff were lovely and we can see why they have so many repeat guests.

Cambridge Beaches is tucked away from the crowds of Hamilton and St. George's. The facilities and beaches are fantastic. Our cottage was magical, with views on both sides and an outdoor patio. There were three restaurants open during our visit from after Christmas to January 3. The service was excellent, and the food was of good quality and value for Bermuda. We rented a Mini Max for a day, and it was easy to reserve, pick up, and return the vehicle on the property. There is a lot to do near the property - beaches, the Railway Trail, Horseshoe Bay, and Daniel's Head. The bus stop is convenient and an excellent option for getting around the island.
