Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa

Nice location. Quiet. Not the cleanest, dirty common areas (doors!) with somewhat random housekeeping. No poolside service which is surprising given the type of hotel. Sunken bar restaurant has overworked the menu and mostly under delivers.

This resort is very expensive. Needs alot of updates in the rooms abd the resort itself. Was a great stay and very clean but need to really update for the prices charged.

All of the staff is so kind, the views are stunning, and the rooms are very well kept up. We had an incredible stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! The whole property feels very private and serene.

The rooms are luxurious. I can lie in bed all day and night, but then I'll miss out on the beautiful views, and the peace of mind is an all-around A+ my home away from home

We just returned from an incredible long weekend at Cambridge Beaches and I can’t say enough good things about this property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this resort had something special to offer. The facilities are outstanding – we took full advantage of the tennis and pickleball courts, and even the kids had a blast on the basketball court. It’s rare to find a resort that caters so well to active families. The indoor pool was perfect for the one rainy afternoon we had, and the outdoor pool became our daily hangout spot. But the real star? That pristine beach. The water is crystal clear and shallow, the sand is perfect, and it never got crowded. We spent hours there every day and it never got old. The dining exceeded our expectations with plenty of variety to keep everyone happy across multiple meals with amazing views of the sunset! And here’s a gem – there’s this sneaky cool bar called Sunken Harbor. Great atmosphere and surprisingly excellent cocktail program. Every member of our family left happy, which is saying something! Cambridge Beaches has that rare combination of luxury, fun, and genuine hospitality. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

Cambridge Beaches is the definition of quiet luxury. It’s not flashy or overdone — just timeless, elegant, and deeply authentic. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the hotel’s incredible history. The walls proudly display lists of families who have returned dozens of times — some up to 50 visits — and many of the staff have been here for decades. That sense of tradition is woven into everything, yet the new owners have beautifully rejuvenated it. The décor, the restaurant menus, the landscaping — every detail honors the hotel’s heritage while adding a fresh, luxurious touch. We came with a group of families, and it was absolutely perfect. The kids loved exploring the grounds, running from pool to beach to tennis and basketball, and spending evenings playing classic board games in the lobby. We didn’t need to leave the resort to have fun, but we did enjoy a short outing to Horseshoe Bay and a catamaran snorkel tour. The restaurants are fantastic — especially breakfast, which quickly became a favorite part of our day. The service everywhere was exceptional. Kumar, in particular, went above and beyond — he remembered our family from the day before and even anticipated our orders. It’s easy to see why so many guests return year after year. Cambridge Beaches has a soul — that rare combination of warmth, tradition, and understated luxury that makes you feel instantly at home. We may just have found a new family tradition of our own.

My husband and I spent a week at Cambridge Beaches in one of the private pool cottages overlooking the ocean . This was our 9th year there and we love it more than ever. We live in New York City and we love going there to really relax. We don’t do much while we’re there - we just bring a guitar and do a little playing like we do at home and dip in the pool and read and listen to music . The resort is gorgeous with amazing views everywhere. The staff is outstanding and the food is delicious at all the three restaurants. We especially love Breezes - great food and wonderful casual atmosphere and amazing sunsets . We love the cottage. No matter what the weather is there’s always that wonderful view everywhere. If it gets windy and stormy it’s very cozy to look out at it. We love the design of the cottage - the bedroom looks right out to the ocean and the bathroom is spacious and has a jetted tub, 2 sinks and a shower. Plus there’s a decent sized closet area with plenty of room to get dressed. We also love the spa pool and on occasion the fitness center. Other guests probably take advantage of the water sports opportunities and we haven’t done that yet but for a weeklong getaway to totally relax it has no equal. And finally I want to repeat how much we love the staff! We will be back next year
