Lake Fork Resort

The rooms are very clean and neat. Few tv channels. The hot water took a few minutes to heat up but there was plenty of it. The restaurant had fantastic food and the staff were very friendly. The only negative was the fish cleaning station was not adequate.

It was fine the first time, but the most recent experience was disappointing. I got a really bad room the first night and spent about 30-45 minutes killing tons of mosquitoes, spiders, and removing spiderwebs before going to sleep. They moved me to a better room, but with a lot of stuff for a week long fishing trip I wasted a couple hours of rare vacation time. I suggested they do something about the charge for the first night and nothing was done, even after I asked them to check with the owner. It stunk so bad they had two air fresheners hanging from the door knob because they know that room stinks. My neighbor was complaining about his room as well. The next room I got was better than the awful room, but not as nice as my first stay.

This is not a fancy place by any means but it is a great spot to stay for a fishing trip with the guys! I have stayed here 3 times now and has always been good. They have a ramp to use and there is a public ramp right down the road as well. They have tackle a little restaurant and gas.

Conveniently located on Lake Fork. It has a moderate boat ramp but works effectively for most boat. There is a well stocked tackle shop and you should be able to find anything you need or purchase items you left at home. There is a small eating area the makes and serves food during limited hours. I have not eaten there but the place is always crowded. The staff and workers are attentive and friendly. I have never had any problems with them. The rooms are older but they are cleaned immaculately. There is no old smell as soon older places. The shower pressure and hot water is Great. The beds are comfortable enough. My back didn’t hurt in the morning or had any aches and pains. The TV does not have cable. It didn’t matter to me but if you are coming with kids...Also, the refrigerator is small. You won’t get much in there if you are bringing food for a couple days. There is a swimming pool but I’m not sure if it’s functional because of the time of my stay. There is also a fish cleaning area. Lastly, if you are bringing a boat, there are outlets outside each room to charge your boat batteries.

It was a very clean quiet get away from DFW. Not fancy but super clean and just steps from the lake. I traveled solo and felt very safe. I am already planning my next stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. I felt like Thelma without Louise and unfortunately did not find a hitchhiker that looked like Brad Pitt. Overall it was a great value.

Reserved a two night stay, mistakingly locked self out of room at 10p. Called emergency phone number listed outside of business building, left two voice mails/text, and no answer. Was forced to sleep in in truck until 5 am. Employee told me the correct number was listed on bottom of receipt. When compared to number dialed, the phone numbers were the same. There were also three live wasps in room, as well as very loud a/c, so only slept for maybe 3 hours that night. Checked the that morning, and employee did a even offer a refund. Very unprofessional motel, would highly not recommend.

After months of "covid-19" stay home ordered we finally decided to go fishing overnight. Lake Fork Resort was very clean, helpful, and considerate. They offered no contact check-in and service. They rotate out the rooms to put days between occupants to allow for disinfecting the rooms. I will be staying with them again.

Check in at the tackle store was easy and staff very friendly. Simple - bed, A/C, TV, Shower, external outlet to plug in the boat, boat ramp a few hundred yards away, gas, snacks, and tackle store. All you need, no frills and reasonably priced as such. My son and I spent one night. We came to fish and the Resort gave us a place to lay our head at night. Simple, adequate...nothing fancy...reasonably priced! We'd come back, for sure!

Me and my wife came down to stay. Room was clean and had a good clean smell to it. Right by the water, which is awesome. Cafe wasn't open yet due to covid but hopefully soon. I'll be back in the fall to stay when we come back for another fishing trip.
