Lake Fork Resort

On a positive note, the motel room was extremely clean. It's perfect for the person who is at Lake Fork to fish. The only down side is the bed is not very comfortable. Hard as a rock. But, I know some people like that...just not me! I would recommend this property solely based on cleanliness.

Rooms are clean, and properly stocked with personal supplies. Beds are comfortable. Microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker are provided. Parking is available for boat trailers with plug-ins for battery charger. TV's need improvement. Sound is poor quality and channel selection is limited. Fuel for boats and vehicles is available , (Ethanol and Non-Ethanol). Restaurant is currently closed due to Shelter-in-place restrictions but snacks and drinks are available. Tackle store is fully stocked. Office staff is always friendly, competent and informative on Lake and Area news/info.

I've stayed here a few times now; not any further. We had to leave early due to a family situation and I notified them early morning 2 days prior of departure. I was told that I would still need to pay for the day we wouldn't be there as it was past the 72 hour notice...unless the room can be re-booked. As it was a Friday night at spawn, figured it would be booked easy. Morning we left I was told they couldn't re-book. I decided to check later in the day and had a friend call to see if he could get a room for that same night - he was told they were booked up. However, I still haven't received credit for the room I didn't use...and they re-booked. I'm glad Lake Fork has other options and future Lake Fork trips will have me staying elsewhere. .

Excellent service! Man working there gave us information on how to navigate lake safely. He even gave us a bag of ice for free. Store has all the lures that you need to fish lake fork. I plan on going back this spring. Room was clean! I senced this place to be very spiritual blessed by God!

A real treat of a place for excellent southern style breakfast. If all you have is biscuits and gravy, you’ll be pleasantly satisfied. But don’t stop there because the eggs, the hash browns, the grits, the pancakes and everything thing else are so super good you won’t regret a full stomach. The service is as delightful as the food. It’s a must try for anyone passing through!

Good old fashioned cheeseburger and handcut fries 1/2 lb a bit pricey at 9.50. I ordered the 1/3 lb off the kids menu w/ fries at 5.50 and that's a good deal. Gonna try 'em for breakfast next. Good tackle shop attached to the cafe too.
