The view was amazing and great location, just across the road from the beach and near to the town centre. Also on arrival the manager / cleaner (?) Allowed us to leave our bags and was very accommodating. The bedrooms were nice and a good size.

There seemed to be a problem with ants on the kitchen surface which was a bit off putting. I had previously asked for a late checkout (for which they charged a fee and I was happy to pay) - when I contacted the owners again regarding the ants they just replied "thanks for letting us know" and said we can't have a late check out. I think if that was my business I would at the very least have offered an apology. The kitchen equipment generally was the cheapest range and lots of things missing, tea towel, cheese grater, not much cutlery, no draining board, cooker tricky to use etc ... should have been better for the cost. The other issue was the door to the patio, it had completely rusted and didn't work and was held shut by a sliding lock like on a toilet door ... I think really it should be more secure than that. The shower also was a bit tricky to use! Although it was a nice enough stay it was very overpriced and on looking on the website I saw I had really paid over the odds through booking.com. It's got potential to be amazing due to the view but is a bit tired and they do need to sort out the ant issue as I looked on previous reviews when I got home and saw this had been raised before. I don't think the price was justified really.

"very comfortable clean apartment, with lots of space for us all."

Excellent location, clean, when needed extra duvet it was delivered immediately. Lots of space for 5 of us and plenty of hot water for us all. We would book this property again if staying in the area.

Every guest had a bath towel but only one hand towel between us. It would have been nice to have had one each.
