Zoetry Curaçao Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

One of the worst lodging experiences we have ever had in our lives. Upon arrival, we had to wait for a room to become available, as there is no defined check-in time. We were only assigned a room at 4:20 p.m., and it was different from the one we had reserved. Even after explaining the situation to the hotel Concierge, our request was not honored, and we were told to file a complaint with the booking operator (Booking). The complimentary liqueur was missing from the room, the bottle of sparkling wine was placed in a bucket with water, the minibar was not stocked, and the sparkling wine was not replenished. The so-called international dinner was served with a basic error: the main course was served first, followed by the starter. The staff are unprepared and lack training. Upon arrival, no one helped us carry our luggage to the room. There is a lack of courtesy among almost all attendants, who seem to be doing guests a favor

I don't recommend this resort for a solo woman traveling. I was dismissed at every turn from check in to any issues I had. I saw others being checked in and shown around the resort while someone picked up one of my two bags and walked quickly to my room, opened the door dropped the bag and turned around to leave. I hardly had time to tip him. Then I discovered why. I got the worst room at the hotel - it was overrun with mosquitos....Within an hour I had killed over 30 of them and went to the office to tell them they needed to do something about it. They said they would but they did nothing but leave me some mosquito repellent. Well by evening I said they had to change my room. They said they couldn't until tomorrow. that evening I stopped counting after I had killed over 80. By morning my face had over 25 bites and I looked as if I had measles. The next room was better but it still had issues. They did nothing !! I went into town to buy makeup to cover my spots and get some protection from the mosquitos. It helped but by the time I left 3 days later my face had 32 bites. Besides those issues - online when I booked it said they had kayaks for no additional charge. Well they had NO kayaks. The pool at Zoetry was a bit chilly but ok - however the hot tub had jets but it was not heated at all. In the Spa the steam room was not working. You never knew which restaurant was open. The Italian one at Dreams was closed the entire time I was there. Some nights Bloom was supposed to be open it was not. Instead the pool area had a "French night" but you had no way of knowing that. The wines served at the bar were not very good. I drink Sauvignon Blanc and if I wanted something better I would have to buy a bottle for a minimum of$60. The mixed drinks were good though. Service was quite slow and sometimes the rooms were not cleaned until you got back from dinner. The best part was the waiters at the bars- everything else I could live without and I wish I had not spent my money on this place. I doubt I will stay at another Hyatt all inclusive..

Need more restaurants, food options, entertained and activities. Overall clean property but a lizard was in my room on arrival

Having to kill 25+ mosquitoes upon arriving to my room was a very unpleasant experience. When I asked if I could be moved to a higher floor, the answer was no. And when I asked them to come spray with pesticides, it took over an hour. While 2 other couples who checked in a day later, requested the same and were moved to a higher floor. There also needs to be more things to do onsite at Zoetry without going across the street to Dreams, such as activities, more nightlife, etc. the food was not great. Bare minimum at best. Drinks were watered down in the bottle. However Jason was great! And when I asked them to call the room when my taxi arrived, they did not do that either. Won’t be back to this resort

It is a small boutique hotel but excellent staff, food and location. You will have access to dreams resort and restaurants as well. The beaches in Curaçao are beautiful and calm. Rent a car to get around easy

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The food wasn’t great. They need more variety. The mosquitoes were so bad, I’m assuming because it’s their rainy season. They need to take anyway some of the plants or trees away for the insects to leave. The staff was amazing and super nice.

terrible experience, food very poor for such a hotel but the worst was the service. People are completely unskilled and partially even unfriendly. It feels the hotel does not have a management, it's just not there, not responsive. Also the beach is far away and you need to walk or take a golf cart and cross the parking lot. The beach is at the site of a partner hotel, not zoetry. That was not clearly mentioned when I booked it. All in all, a terrible experience for a hotel with that brand. Do not recommend.
