The Old Stables B&B

A very welcoming host. Lovely room. Beautiful building. All in all a great stay.

The lack of a cooked breakfast option. We managed with parking, but this is a little difficult.

Fantastic little B & B! Just what I was looking for.

Owner was very friendly, room was cozy.

Location was fabulous, minutes from the main square. Welcoming host, everything you could possibly need facilities wise and the most comfortable nights sleep, spotlessly clean. Cannot wait to return to this beautiful spot and the old stables. Highly recommend

I can highly recommend the Old Stables, Winslow. Jeff is a true gentleman who ensures you have a comfortable stay. Upon arrival you are provided with a tea/coffee, of which there is a wide selection to choose from. The sitting room has Internet TV, plenty of books including interesting books of the area, videos, and a comfortable sofa - so comfortable I fell asleep on it! The Internet provision is excellent and better than most hotels ive stayed in plus free. This level of comfort is matched in the bedroom. Everything is clean, tidy, and a perfect escape. He also allows you to have your own privacy but is also a friendly person when you fancy a chat. This exceptional standard is continued throughout, a hugh selection of cereals and local bread for breakfast, and ensuring all items are in the bathroom - including toothpaste, deodrant... It felt like I was staying with a close family friend and was perfect for what I needed. Thanks Jeff!

Unfortunately parking was limited. Luckily I have a small car so it wasn't an issue at the time, however if you have a larger car I can imagine this being more of an issue. In addition I was hoping it maybe possible to cook your own dinner on the hob but this wasn't possible as its gas. However it is possible to cook microwave meals etc. so this was probably more than you are able to do at other B & Bs and possibly lack of awareness on my part. Both parking and cooking limitations are therefore somewhat irrelevant in relation to the hospitality and B&B itself.
