The staff was nice

Not very clean, ripped/broken curtains, unclean sink/tub/floors, coffee maker missing basket! Etc. etc.

The staff were very kind. The room was older, but clean and beds looked newer and were comfortable. Great value for money- don’t expect luxury but everything worked and was clean.

"Miserable several minutes standing out in the cold trying to raise someone to assign us a room."

Didn't like anything about the place - were never given a chance. Office locked, & no one answered the 24 hour bell that was located outside or the phone. W/o offering to leave a message, their phone hung up on me. A full refund is definitely in order but I have yet to hear from anyone about this fiasco.

It wasn't an enclosed motel.

Is the room was not cleaned. The bed was made but i'm not sure they changed the sheets. There was coffee residue in the sink where someone had emptied the coffee pot but not cleaned up afterwards. There was stuff on the floor that they had not vacuumed up.

The pictures do not do this place justice! We were riding motorcycles down the coast and then the rain started. We found Summer winds at 10pm on booking, the owner met us at the office and got us right in a room! She was extremely nice and got us in quick! The room was clean, warm and the Motel is pretty much in the middle of everything making it the perfect emergency stop for us in the middle of our trip! Plus it was definitely a deal!

The bathroom could've used a little help remodel wise but it was clean and fully stocked!
