Maitai Bora Bora

El personal fue amable, el desayuno abundante, las instalaciones Buenas, habitación amplia. Estuvimos aquí la última noche antes de nuestro vuelo de regreso a Tahiti. Nos ayudaron a contratar un transfer al aeropuerto el cual fue un poco más caro de lo habitual, pero justo ese día era feriado.

La zona de playa que tienen es relativamente pequeña.

Colorful fish and corals can be found just by the over-water bungalows in shallow and clear waters.

The WiFi was intermittent and very slow, regardless which part of the property you are at.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and offered a beautiful view from the balcony. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfasts were tasty and offered a sufficient variety of options, although we would have appreciated some fresh vegetables. We especially appreciated the opportunity to borrow snorkeling fins free of charge from the hotel's dive center by the beach. The ladies working there were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The beach itself was pleasant and well maintained, and we also enjoyed several meals at the hotel restaurant, where the food was tasty.

The biggest disappointment, however, were the pillows. They were extremely hard, overstuffed, and very uncomfortable to sleep on. We woke up with significant neck pain each morning. Replacing them with softer, more supportive pillows would greatly improve the overall guest experience. The beach is located in a very small cove, and the reef close to the shore is rather limited and not particularly rich in marine life. Another small inconvenience was that the hotel restaurant always required reservations to be made well in advance, which reduced flexibility when deciding where and when to dine. Overall, however, these were minor drawbacks in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

J’ai été malade après avoir mangé du poisson cru au lait de coco au restaurant du maitai sur la plage

Wir waren eine Nacht im Hotelzimmer und danach 4 Nächte im Bungalow. Der Bungalow ist sein Geld definitv wert. Der Strand ist klein aber sehr schön und wir konnten viele Fische, einen Riffhai, Stachelrochen und Adlerrochen beim Schnorcheln entdecken. Beim Frühstück wurde auf Wünsche eingegangen. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Es gab auch sehr süße Hunde am Strand und Katzen beim Frühstück.

Ab ca 14.30 liegt der gesamte Strandabschnitt im Schatten - das ist auch der Grund warum dieses Hotel so günstig ist im Vergleich zu anderen Bungalows. Die Cocktails haben uns nicht geschmeckt.
