Maitai Bora Bora

L'emplacement est parfait, la chambre spacieuse et le lit très confortable ! La vue côté océan était superbe ! Le personnel était très agréable.

La nouvelle politique de l'établissement : no kids. Dommage d'exclure une catégorie de la population à mon sens, surtout en Polynésie où les enfants ont toute leur place dans la société.

The staff was super nice and welcoming - I needed to drop my luggage as I came in before 9 am and was headed for the full day small boat rental, so they stored my backpack and suitcase at the reception and then delivered it into my room. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was also nice - at least when it was not raining. The transparent part of floor where you can see the fish is a cute thing. And the breakfast was also really good and generous.

For the given price tag, I would really expect a better internet connection. I work remotely, so 1 Mbps that is constantly dropping, was really not a good experience for me. They were supposed to brief me about the internet, but as I just dropped my bags in the morning and returned later in the afternoon, this got lost in time. The good thing is that they offer a mobile modem that is much faster, they only forgot to warn me that there's a limit of 1 GB of transferred data per day. So after you use it, it gets limited even more than the 1 Mbps wifi. One of the evenings I went to the nearby restaurant to get some vegetarian food - unfortunately they were out of pizzas but at least there was one other last vegetarian option (tagliatele). So if you don't eat meat, be prepared.

Nagyon szép helyen van, a strandja fantasztikus. Közelben minden megvan és elintéznek ami csak szükséges. A privát csónaktól a motoríg, taxiig bezárólag. A személyzet nagyon kedves és segîtőkész.

A szoba borzasztóan dohos volt mikor átvettük. Valószínű lehetett egy korábbi beázás aminek a nyomait felfedeztük a fürdő plafonján. A reggeli egyoldalú. Igaz mi csak 3 éjszakát töltöttünk ott, de mindig ugyanazt ettük. Hiányzott a polynes konyha, nagyon franciás.

Overwater bungalows were great. Saw lots of sting rays. Location is close to restaurants.

Our bungalow on the beach was wonderful (and we think even better than those on stilts!). Lovely big room and bathroom, with a lovely deck outside with steps down to what felt like our private bit of beach (bungalow 12) and with the boating pontoon just nearby (handy for trips and just hanging out on). We had a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge. The resort itself was being upgraded, so that will be a good - the location is great - lots of local options for food including a nice beach restaurant onsite, plus the Bora Bora Beach Club (great location for cocktails at sunset and the food is good, although a little pricey), the Lucky restaurant with a good atmosphere (used by locals and tourists), The Intercontinental Le Moana (pricey, but nice beach location) and the local shop - all in walking distance! I personally I think the Mai Tai is great value for money (especially if they get the breakfast upgraded!), in a great location. If you want to get to town, they provide shuttle buses.

The breakfast was not so great - fruit flies on the fruit, dogs hanging around etc.

Clean and comfortable facilities with very friendly and helpful staff in a great location. I’d definitely come back to stay.
