Mountain House, A Vail Resorts Property

Room was much smaller than a typical economy hotel room

The hotel room was a studio condo and right at the base of our mountain. We stayed two days and enjoyed the hot tub and romantic snowy mountainsides. It was easy to get to the lifts and we had a really wonderful time.

Terrible communication by front desk and did not get the room that was paid for.

The reception office was closed after 8 pm and had to call a number to get directions to another reception office. The cobdo was in a building that was hard to find especially at night. No AC.. you had to open the windows and ceiling fan. You had to be familiar with the tv and reciever to operate them . NO VIEW No town... On the other hand, The room was spacious and we'll equipped. The reception girls we helpful.

Two beds but one was a Murphy bed and when it was in place there was no room to move around. Tiny little kitchenette. 2 burners. Room not big enough to enjoy staying in to cook and eat inside. Nice grill and tables out on the shared terrace but not covered to protect you from the rain.

The room is outdated but that is not the biggest problem. The mattress in the Murphy bed is hard and feels worse that sleeping on the floor. Wish we went camping instead. At least my back would know why it feels like I slept on rocks.

We stayed for one night and it was a great location. The room had great amenities as well. Perfect stay over for skiing.

very nice and convenient place for family trip. I am happy to go back next year.

Right next to slopes! A little outdated. Needs new carpet. Expensive for what we got.
