Unique experience! A “must stay” if traveling Route 66! Both the room and the restaurant were great!

This hotel is awesome inside & out. The lobby is a sight to see with the double staircases. Decorated in fine fashion with lots of pictures, furnishings and history from the day. A must see and stay motel!

Great bar and restaurant. I liked that you can take your drinks to outside porch or to the secret room or just sit by the fire.

El Rancho Hotel is such a unique place, and I absolutely loved the historic atmosphere. The staff was incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was very clean, and the unique decor added so much character to the experience. There is and amazing gift shop on premises.

We arrived pretty late in the evening after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to find there is no designated parking for hotel guests. The parking lot was completely full, and with no valet service available, finding a spot was a pretty stressful situation after a long road day. Additionally, the pillows in the room were very uncomfortable, which made getting a good night's rest difficult. ​It's a beautiful property with excellent service, but the parking situation and bed comfort definitely need some improvement.

I had dinner, not breakfast. It was really big salad , really good! View inside lobby so awesome! Amazing history with picture on the wall! Eureka! I discovered a secret room! Second floor patio so relaxing and breeze! Gift shops are just perfect to buy things for Christmas! I highly recommend to friends and relatives to stay in western style room with a massive famous face on the shower certain at wonderful El Rancho Hotel! Superb!

The vintage theme. Our room was decorated with vintage route 66 memorabilia. Staff in bar and restaurant were wonderful.

Definitely a very old hotel.....1937. But it was well maintained.

Wow! One of our favorites to stay on Route 66. So historic. We stayed in the main hotel. It was so historic. The rooms had such charm. The lobby was beautiful. The elevator was so much fun. The secret room on level 2 is a must by the book case. If you are doing Route 66 this is a must stay!

We have stayed at El Rancho several times over the years. The updates they have done are wonderful. Restaurant was exceptional. Loved it as always.
