"Family that would definitely come back. Wished waterslides opened more"

8.0

The Atlantis was amazing! The resort is huge and so much to see and do, for all ages! We loved all the aquariums all around the resort, especially the ones you fully walked through! The Dig is a fun path to see a bunch of different marine life! The Aquaventure waterpark was fun and glad it was included in our stay. However, I wish all waterslides were always open or rotated their schedules more often. There were a few signs saying which slides were open with many saying "on a rotating schedule" but then didn't open until late afternoon, or not at all that day. My kids LOVED the jungle slide but only got to use it for part of the day in the late afternoon or not at all. They constantly asked when it would be open, but none of the workers even knew if or when it would open. The rooms were good. spacious and clean. You could tell they were a little worn, but that was expected and we would still stay in the Coral tower again. It was a great location, being close to the marina village, with a bunch of little shops and restaurants, and the casino.

"Coral Tower"

10.0

We have been to Atlantis seven times and this was the first time staying in the Coral Tower. Overall, we were happy with our stay here. We had a beautiful view of the pool. I liked that it was a short walk from the hotel to the pool. You have Cocodrilo close by for snacks or tacos etc. The room could use a little up grade, but we were fine with it. We will definitely be back.

"Food & Drink Pricing Exaggerated and Tips are Mandatory Everywhere"

10.0

Amazing beaches and pools. Food is overpriced so plan accordingly, gratuities on top of gratuity is out of hand, casino was not the greatest and never saw any big winners nor heard many slots hit jackpots.

"Wonderful trip"

10.0

Had an excellent time at the Coral. No complaints about anything - staff was friendly and helpful, food was good - we ate at Fish, Field Trip, Cocodrillo, Murray’s Deli, Sun and Ice. I preferred the Coral pool to the Royal’s - there were umbrellas at the Coral pool that provided much needed shade; didn’t see any at the Royal pool. The Atlantis beach was great. Shout out to Latoya and Mariah at the front desk for a smooth checkout.

"Laughter Among Guest and Staff"

10.0

As always, an excellent experience. The staff is top notch. I couldn't help but notice how the staff was chatting and laughing with each other. I heard Atlantis was a great place to work and I hope this is indicative that they are happy working there.

"Know before you go"

4.0

I suggest you read this review in full to understand the “2” rating. First the good. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the water park rides (when open - there were time when only a couple rides were available) and the pools / grounds are generally quite nice. However, this place is stupid expensive and the Coral is well past a need for refurbishing. Food is priced similar to Las Vegas but not Vegas quality. Small portions / sub-par quality. Charges for everything you are led to believe are included. Most importantly, check your bill CLOSELY. I have a dispute regarding approximately $200 in additional charges. Examples being: 1. Bellman gratuity of $8 disclosed up-front billed at $17 (I foolishly tipped the bellman extra) 2. An undisclosed $15 daily Coral gratuity with zero explanation 3. $26.40 disclosed Daily Resort Fee was charged as expected and appeared on the final bill. Buried in the folio was an additional $71.50 for Coral Towers Resort fee. Each person is charged $3 daily for pool fees (this was disclosed) whether one uses the facilities or not. Contacting Atlantis afterward is very, very difficult. No contact info on the final folio. You will have to search for contact information beyond making a reservation. They do not want to hear Freon you post stay! You pretty much discover on the first day this place is huge yet walk it once and you realize it is not there is less here than expect. I’ll sum it up this way: a vacation to Disney World is a bargain compared to Atlantis. Beware of hidden, suspect, extra charges.

"Two great employees, one sad experience"

6.0

Your facility needs a lot of work. The rooms need usb ports close to bedside, an accessible room needs reachable outlets, not ones on the baseboards by the floor. I have stayed at the Atlantis 3 times over the years and did not enjoy my stay this time except for some employees that went the extra mile. Two that stand out for me in a HUGE way are Danielle at the check in desk and JoJo (Diennel) a doorman. They are the real deal and know how to treat a guest. Both went above and beyond. I appreciated their help, awesome attitudes and overall service so much. I would want them to be the face of my company.
