The Coral at Atlantis

We loved our time staying at Atlantis. My family and I (husband/wife and 2 boys 9 and 5) stayed at the coral in a one bedroom suite. The views were incredible, location was great. We loved the slides, the rapid river, all the beaches (explored the cove more bc of calmer water). From the moment we stepped in we were taken care of. All of the ladies who helped us (Ariel, Peggy, Kristi, jerunnie, and Amya) were always so welcoming and warming. They even decorated our room for our anniversary. Rooms were always cleaned well. We didn’t mind the water, especially if you bring some electrolyte packs. Highly recommend it and I honestly feel the ladies who helped us made a huge difference. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully get to work with the same people!!

We had Issues staying at the Coral Tower. The drain was broken in the tub and dirty. The safe was locked when we got there and we were unable to use it. We booked a room that was supposed to give a complementary upgrade. I was told that there were none available however, an hour later, my brother who booked the same promotion as me was given an upgrade. I was traveling with my 1 1/2 year-old and would have really appreciated the upgrade. My grandmother who I was traveling with got stuck in the coral tower elevator. It not only got stuck, but it fell with her in it multiple times and she had to climb out. Staff was not concerned and only worried about asking questions like her name and where she was staying. When checking out, I made sure to let them know about not being upgraded, and no compensation was given. Very disappointing. The grounds and rest of the experience was great, but the accommodations were not ideal.

The check-in line was quite long, and when I finally reached the counter, the receptionist assisting me repeatedly paused to help other guests, which significantly delayed the process. He informed me that I was being checked into a terrace view room; however, I showed him my reservation confirming an ocean view room. He acknowledged this and proceeded. Upon arriving at my room, I discovered it was not an ocean view. I contacted guest services and was instructed to return to the front desk to exchange my keys. After waiting again and experiencing some confusion, I asked the receptionist why I had not been assigned the correct room initially. He responded that he had given me a “water view” room, which turned out to be a view of a fountain. I was then reassigned to an ocean view room; however, upon entering, there was a strong damp odor, suggestive of mold or mildew. I contacted guest services again and was asked if maintenance could address the issue. When the maintenance staff arrived, he brought only an air freshener. I explained that this would not resolve the problem. After confirming the odor himself, he stated he would notify his manager. I contacted guest services once more and was informed that it would take some time before another ocean view room would be available. I explained that I had dinner reservations and needed time to shower and change after a full day of travel. Due to the delay, my guest and I had no choice but to leave without changing, which was highly inconvenient. Upon returning from dinner, I was disappointed to find that another room was still not ready. I had to explain the entire situation again to a different receptionist before I was finally reassigned to an appropriate room. Overall, the delay in providing the correct accommodations was frustrating, time-consuming, and caused significant inconvenience.

We had the best time at the Coral. The service was incredible, fast responsive, accommodating. The cleaning room girl Sophia was also so incredible and kept our room sooo clean!! The check in and check out crew was super pleasant and easy to deal with. The only thing I’d suggest is for the resort to have a night show for the kids around 7 or 8pm! Shout out to Sophia, Danielle, Vannie and Shawna! Thanks so much for making our family vacation unforgettable and without an issue!! We will be back!

Every little detail was taken from this special team who takes care of this magical place!!! What a wonderful time and wonderful team!!!

You couldn't ask for better staff and service. You could ask for better pricing for the types of meals that were offered. The best value for the food was NOBU at the Casino near Coral.

Love our time in paradise!!! Can’t wait until we can return!!! Next time we will hope to stay for a longer period of time!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time we didn’t want to leave! Friendly staff, beautiful scenery, tons of pools, aquarium exhibits, the beach and water park, we did not want to leave! Our room was wonderful and so close to all the kid activities and we loved the rope bridge and tunnel with aquarium windows at the coral! The coral is definitely a great tower to stay for families! I will definitely recommend the coral to all our family and friends!
