Reasonably quiet location, easy to get to

No late bar

Loved that there was a swimming pool and a Starbucks onsite aswell as the restaurant and seating near reception. The staff were all very attentive and friendly.

Breakfast wasn’t worth £12.50 (reduced rate) Not enough plugs only 1 next to one bed , one under the tv and one near the door. In a room of that size with 4 people staying more plugs would have been helpful. We had 4 phones to charge. The pillows were extremely lumpy but the bed was very comfortable. I didn’t complain about the pillows I’m sure I could have asked for replacements.

Rooms were spotless and comfortable, staff were genuinely friendly and helpful from check-in onwards, and the pool and gym was a great bonus, and you pay an extra £5 for the use of those facilities. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well cooked. Easy parking, lots of it. Quiet night's sleep, and good value for money. Would happily stay again, excellent all round.

Absolutely amazing service from Frank in the pub tonight! Very attentive and made sure all our needs were met 🙂

The hotel seemed old, tired, and dirty in places. The floors downstairs in the conference room were sticky and there was gum on the floor in the elevator. Our room didn’t have tissues, although there was a place for them (granted I never asked for any either). The thermostat unit only worked sometimes and was difficult to get to a good temperature. We were there for a book festival, so that was good as all activities took place in the hotel. And there was an Asda nearby to get some breakfast and snacks. But there wasn’t much else. A few restaurants in walking distance but not much choice.

All in the hotel was amazing The food was delicious free parking near to everything This is the best hotel
