Village Hotel Swindon

Great stay.the room was very comfortable,and clean the swimming pool and changing rooms were clean and a joy to use Matt from reception is a star ⭐he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for Swindon.. The food was goid.

The cleanliness and state of repair for the room, let alone a club room which I'd expect if anything to be better than a standard room was poor. Stains on the ceiling and curtains, broken slats on the window, a window that didnt close properly and so a lot of noise,came in from the courtyard. The bed had strange shatp metal feet that stick out at an angle which werr a hazard. The toilet was reluctant to flush and the plumbing made peculiar sounds. The bedside table waa hanging off the wall at an angle, bodged on with a few screws. Also, appreciate the recent weather is beyond the hotels control, but no ac in the room and the ac in the bar area also was not working.

Room was a bit tired and in need of updating. No water available in the rooms.
