La terraza y la piscina

Lekker dicht bij het strand, om het appartement heen genoeg eet en shop gelegenheden. Het hotel zelf was prima en een heerlijk balkon. Fijn groot zwembad met genoeg ligplekken!

Location is spot on, 10 out of 10. After that it goes downhill a bit. Decent pool area, sadly some of the clientele left a bit to be desired - loud obnoxious, a younger couple thinking the pool sunbeds were actually their bed, and oblivious to sun seekers around them, other folk thinking it was ok to walk past you taking sneaky photos of you - as if I didn’t notice, my wife asked me to show restraint so I did…. Poor show

Food - cold stuff cold, warm / hot stuff was cold, staff a bit cranky but I’m guessing it’s not the best paid job in the world - could do better, chef thought he was Gordon Ramsay (without the expletives though, to his defence) the hot food being luke warm at best is a disgrace,brick hard pizza never sliced properly, under cooked salmon, and a bunch of uncontrolled young kids, ages 5 through 10 just doodling along picking up putting down food back on the serving trays, unable to cut the pizza up, so just used hands to pull it apart, making a mess, that is not the hotels fault, parental control non existent- I wish I’d talked a photo of the mess on the floor one family of 5 left, Ive got 4 grown kids now, but I would never remotely have left 5% of the mess this lot left, I just felt for the staff….. THE MOST important issue, room door didn’t lock properly, reported to reception twice, on different days, not repaired the latch was jamming as the door plate was offset so the catch was sticking, once I knew that I made sure the room was secure when we left the room, sadly the cleaners didn’t have that foresight and we returned to the room twice after that to a wide open door, actually showed reception photos of the lock assembly and what needed to be done to resolve the sticking lock…. Probably still not fixed, that Mr Coral suites is the killer for me, the rest was just annoying or unfortunate or whatever really, the room security is a must and you failed terribly …….

Brilliant Location. Contact with owner was prompt when required. Large comfortable bed in main bedroom.

The small steps into both bathrooms should have hazard strips as it took a while to get use to them as they are camouflaged by the tiles being the same either side of them. Not a major problem but a few banged toes and a couple of stumbles helped us remember eventually. Also low roof on one side of upstairs bathroom was a bit of a bang hazard to the head especially when one of our party was over 6ft. Again it was just something we needed to become aware of.
