Meliton Hotel

So it was a trip for just myself and my little boy, a week together and we chose to stay at The Meliton, mainly due to the great price. When booking this place you need to keep in mind that it's not expensive and it's only 3 stars so don't be expecting the red carpet. However we found it to be just perfect for what we needed. The food was great, there were a few things I wouldn't touch but we managed to find something to eat each mealtime. The cocktails really arnt the bad also! The staff are really lovely and the room is cleaned daily. I have no complaints, apart from 1, there's no kettle in the room. I do think it's stand practice to put a kettle in an hotel room and I realised at the end of our holiday that we could of had one at an extra cost and I didn't like that! Don't book car hire through the hotel, go to HiJet and get a car from there, its much cheaper! Lindos and Rodos were great places to visit also. Make sure you pack card games, uno, etc.. bc there is zero entertainment apart from Saturday and Tuesday. Greek night was amazing! I feel like they could at least play music on an evening in general but they choose not to so it can be boring, so be wary of this if you have children or teenagers, fetch some board games! Everyone was doing the same.

I have to honest, i read some of the reviews and wasn't sure what to expect but this hotel is fantastic. It is a little out of the way but we loved staying here for a proper relaxing break. We arrived quite late due to a flight delay but check in was quick and painless. We were quickly shown to our room (Room 78). The room was very, very good. It looked like it had been recently refurbished. Really nice bathroom with walk in shower which I always love and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and the cleaning team came in most days, replacing towels and bedding as required. There is a small fridge in the room as well as storage space for your clothes. A safe is available for an additional charge of E1.50 per day and air conditioning for E7.00 per day. Now I know a lot of people would complain about this but just remember how cheap your holiday was so a few extras is not that unusual. Now the hotel itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained including all the garden areas. We were looking for a proper relaxing break and found it here. There are 2 pools with one for everyone and one that is more relaxing. All the staff here are amazing. They are so friendly and warm. Always ready with a smile and a kalimera (good morning). They are a credit to this family run hotel. The all inclusive is great. Remember this is a smaller family run hotel so they won't have endless options every day like the big chains. However, the food has both regular and vegetarian options. Breakfast was continental and English with varaitions most days. Lunch and dinnner normally offer a couple of options for meat and fish with vegetables, plenty of salad, rice baked potato and chips etc. It's all well cooked and we always found something to eat every day. You can also get ice cream from the bar at lunch and dinner time. Drinks wise, the all inclusive is till 10.30pm. Wine, beer, coffee and soft drinks are available all day, spirits start from 4.00pm and they have a cocktail hour in the evening as well. There isn't a huge amount of entertainment but we knew that before we came. They have a Greek night on Saturday and Karaoke on Tuesday. Music is played in the evenings but only as background in the bar area. They offer a free shuttle bus to the beach. You can also pay E10.00 from a drop off and pick up to Valley of the Butterflies. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel for a 3 star and will definitely come back again.

We spent a week at the meliton hotel as we arrived late around 10:30 pm . Checked in at the reception and went to our rooms the double room was not fit for 2 adults it was very tiny it would be OK for 1 adult as we arrived late their was nothing for us to eat but frozen pizza which we had to pay for and apparently they stop serving any drinks at 1030pm so had to pay for drinks . So went to our rooms and found we had to pay for air-conditioning which was 7 euros per day it was only seasonal availability which I couldn't understand 🙃 😅 so we had no choice to pay for the fact that we're only in the rooms sleeping and changing . The food is very bland repetitive not a lot of choice although they had a greek night which didn't reflect to greek cuisine their was greek dancing though.N The facilities at the hotel seems you have to pay for everything if you needed a kettle you had to pay table tennis you had to pay for the ball bottled water wasn't provided you had to pay the little fridge in our rooms didn't have anything . The toilets around the pools and at the reception area didn't have any locks on the doors the towels were hard felt like bathmats also if you need beach towels you had to pay 2 euros per day . The entertainment was none existent I don't understand why they didn't put any disco for the evening after all we were in the middle of nowhere so noise wouldn't have mattered . Their is a beach which the shuttle bus takes you from the hotel twice and returns at 1pm only it's not a very nice beach lots of pebbles and guess what you had to pay for the lounges. Overall the staff work very hard the lady at the reception she is very helpful 👏 but the hotel has a lot of improvements to conquer I wouldn't say it was All Inclusive more of Bed and Breakfast maybe they need to advertisement it .

Schönes Hotel. Hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt hier. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut 👍

Essen war in Ordnung. Hätte gesünder sein können, aber für den Preis vollkommen ok.

We spent only one night at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful... also the other guest were pleasant. We had dinner together and enjoyed the karaoke evening. It has a nice pool and lively social life.

The nights are very noisy. It is a fun to be here, with many youngsters but this is not a place where you can sleep at night. The internet did not work - I mean the password worked, but it was so slow that it was unusable. The food and the drink is included - this is great... but the quality and the taste was not the best... maybe we were unlucky and the chef was on vacation... but I would not prefer to eat this food during my two weeks vacation.

Lovely hotel,staff are all friendly and helpful,food was limited but good. A little i Off the beaten track, hotel supplied transport to the beach in the morning which is large pebbles do you really need some strong beach shoes to get in the water. You do have to pay extra for the air conditioning . Cocktails are not good.
