Meliton Hotel

We have just got back from the Meliton in Theologos , there were 7 of us ( friends we go away with a lot ) we did our research so knew what we were getting !! It is out of the way but we got numerous busses around which weren’t any great issues , as people have said not a great choice of food but we didn’t go hungry or thirsty , the staff were all fantastic and really enjoyed seeing them and always served with a smile !! Great Greek night and Karaoke was such fun ( I sang a couple of songs ) always found a sun bed and the gardens and pools were always clean we honestly had a very relaxing time for what we payed ! No complaints , it is after all a three star , so we would like to thank all Meliton staff for an enjoyable holiday . ( Logan our friends son bought most of the stuff in onsite shop ! ) which brought about many funny conversations with the staff !! Kevin , Nicky ,Abbie Shelley , Logan Chris and Emma ( Surrey )

It is our 4th time at the meliton and unfortunately it will be our last. I get you get what you pay for but the prices need to go up so not so many corners are cut . The food had gone down , you won’t starve but choices are so limited. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the place spotless but unfortunately our cleaner was not up to scratch. She did not clean our sinks or our balconies we had to kill the ants using mosquito spray. She also stole money from our dressing tables which when we told reception we were asked not to say anything and given safe keys . When we told the boss he said that maybe the thought it was a tip and gave us a fridge magnet . Johnny , mickhalis andBanos behind the bar are great fun and Despina the waitress is a beautiful person . There are a few good restaurants 25 m walk away . All in all it is a base , hire a car and turn left at the petrol stayion to find a good few beaches 15 minutes away . Rhodes old town is a bus ride away , tickets can be brought from reception. We will return to Rhodes but not to the Meliton .

Frukost var helt ok!

This hotel positions itself as small, quiet hotel with 2 entertainment nights each week and this is exactly what is was. The Greek night and karaoke were good fun. The room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels. The grounds are well kept and the pool was clean and nice. Food was ok, we managed to find food everyday but would be good to have more variety . spirits served after 4pm. We always got a sunbed. Free shuttle to beach but will need to make own way back if you leave after 1pm. The beach has great sunsets! The staff we very friendly and we had a really enjoyable stay. If you want busy Rhodes, then Thelogos is not the town for this, but if you want to relax, Meliton is a nice place and a great base to explore the island and it’s good value for money. We were busy with trips that kept us busy and we were happy to come back and relax! There should be no suprises if you’ve done your research ! Thank you hotel Meliton for a lovely stay :)

We arrived at the hotel, and even though we were all inclusive we didn't get a small bottle of water, unless we paid for it. For the first 4 days at the hotel, the towels did not get replaced even though as per their policy, all towels left in the bathroom will get replaced. On the 4th day we came back after having lunch to the room to find out we have no towels at all (3 people). We went to reception to ask why, and we got informed we won't get our towels because one of them was dirty with hair dye, and we have to pay for it. Once we asked for a number to the Greece Tourist Agency so we can complain about the situation, the mood completely changed and we were instantly given new towels. On the 5th day of our stay, at night time there was no water in the taps and you couldn't even wash yourself. The next morning during breakfast we asked for water at the bar and they said they are unable to provide it because of some kind of water pipe issue, and apparently they were also unable to provide juices or other non-alcoholic beverages at the bar. When asked what we can do, the hotel told us we can buy beverages at the hotel store. Keeping in mind it was around 38c and water was essential for everyone there. I will also point out I was there with my disabled son who has issues with his bladder and may wet himself, so it's important we have water and clean towels so I can frequently wash him. Keep far away from this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday.

1st of all read the description it's 25 minutes walk to any restaurants which all have a good reputation For us a family of 3 (16 yr old ) We had a great time hotel is spot less every where Food is good alot of chicken and pork and small choices but you have to realise this is a very small family run hotel you won't go hungry Staff amazing Anna in the morning is amazing You have to remember it's 3 stars We met some families that go every year Greek night is hilarious Great sunset down the beach a must see
