Meliton Hotel

Just returned from a week's stay.. Having read the reviews before hand I wasn't really looking forward to it. But what a surprise it was.. Rooms lovely & clean.. Cleaner was in everyday.. The hotel grounds were spotless. Food was ok always something even if if are fussy.. Chicken, fish, salad bar, potatoes plus u can buy cooked pizzas at the mini Market at the side of the bar if u want a snack.. Mini Market sold crisps, chocolate, drinks & lots more.. Entertainment was just karaoke on Tuesday Greek night on Saturday both were good.. The Hotel is about a 10min walk to beach & a couple of bars.. I would definitely visit this hotel again.. Met some lovely people who made our nights go by... All the staff were very friendly a credit to the hotel.. Reception girls were so helpful & friendly..

My 16 year old daughter and I have just (sadly!) returned from a wonderful 10 night stay here and I would absolutely come again. We were immediately pleased on our arrival at how pretty the location was and how wonderfully clean the hotel and both pools and pool areas were, too. Staff work tirelessly from before sunrise to late at night ensuring the grounds are clean and tidy. Our room was made up everyday and ours bins emptied. We did have to pay for air conditioning, which was quite expensive, (70 euros for 10 days) but I believe it is included with some rooms. I saw aircon as a must though, so something I budgeted for. Rhodes really is a beautiful place and you’d be hard pushed not to enjoy the stunning landscapes and majestic deep blue and turquoise sea, there is so much to do and so many places to visit. One thing though, the area that the hotel is located in is quite remote, and I’d imagine it is a long and hot walk to the main road and closest restaurants and shops etc. We had a rental car and easily managed to do what we wanted, but I can imagine without one, you may not end up leaving the hotel very often, especially in the heat of late June and early July. Several days were 40 degrees plus at some point, so after being out for the day, it was so nice to return and cool off in the smaller relaxing pool before dinner. The food is lovely and the hotel really take pride in trying to provide guests with fresh and authentic choices. I am vegetarian and things were labelled at the buffet as vegetarian so I knew what I could eat. Some people have really moaned about the food - it’s true that there isn’t a vast choice - but what’s offered is perfectly adequate and enjoyable and I really believe that some people will find anything to main about!(We chose to eat out a couple of times too, so there’s that option for variety). One of the loveliest parts about Rhodes in general are the beautiful sunsets on the west side of the island. We were lucky enough to enjoy them from our balcony on some evenings, when we weren’t out watching them from a castle in the mountains or from a beach bar. Definitely a relaxing and enjoyable place, just make sure you research the area to see whether you’d want to get a hire car too.

We recently stayed in this hotel . The good things are : Close to the airport - 10 min drive 15 minute walk to a shop Buses to beach and Rhodes town Drinks- There is a wide selection of drinks , however they are poured fairly strong as are done by eye / free pour . The slightly negative things are: The range of food - There is a fair selection of cuisine , however not great for picky eaters or people not keen to try new things . It could sometimes be a bit hit and miss , however I’d say it was averagely okay. Entertainment (lack of it ) - I understand that it is a small(ish) hotel , however there are only 2 evenings of entertainment per week , including a ‘Greek night’ on a Saturday , which we missed. Timings of food - It is a bit of a shame that there isn’t constant snacks available throughout the day , however it is advertised as set meal times . Overall, it is a good hotel for what you pay for.

The hotel is so clean, tidy and very friendly staff. The bed is unreal, like a memory foam mattress. On the whole the holiday was lovely. Downside, the food was very poor, not all day everyday, gaps in the day where stuff isn’t available. Very repetitive and not much flavour. Only had entertainment on Saturday night, (Greek night) and Tuesday (karaoke night). The other 5 nights there was nothing to do. You can get a taxi into the town fairly cheap. We ate out on our last night as we couldn’t face the food again. Hotel and cleanliness 5 ⭐ Staff friendliness 5 ⭐ Things to do 2 ⭐ Food 1 ⭐

The nicest and most accommodating people ever. It’s really an amazing friendly environment were you always feel welcome. The staff are amazing and kind and always doing their best to make your stay the best it can be. With a Greek night and a karaoke night, every night will be fun and amazing. Walking distance from a beach you are surrounded with beautiful views.

Do not come here, I’ve stayed in caravans better than this place, the food is near enough inedible no choice or selection the market in the hotel is overpriced the staff are rude , the pool is ankle deep, ants all over the place, the shower is tiny no space to move in it, tv doesn’t work, in the middle of no where everywhere is a 20 minute walk or a drive , I’ve never stayed in a all inclusive hotel and spent more money on food than I payed to stay here , couldn’t wait to go home never coming here again do not recommend the pictures are not as advised save your money

If you’re looking for a relaxing cheap holiday I would recommend this place! Me and my boyfriend have stayed here for a week and we’ve really enjoyed it. The pool and bar are lovely and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are also lovely and clean. One issue we had was that the hotel is quite out of the way and far from a lot. However there is a bus stop about a 10 minute walk away where the bus takes you to rhodes, the drive is about 45 mins so not too bad! There is also a shuttle bus to the beach every morning. We found it best going for a walk the first night we got to the hotel to see what is around and there are many restaurants and bars about, but within a 20 minute walk. Definitely worth going to them tho as the food and drinks were amazing! Another issue we had was the food. It wasn’t necessarily bad food but not a lot of selection, which is of course expected as the hotel is small and doesn’t cater for massive amounts of people. We really enjoyed the entertainment there is karaoke every tuesday and greek night every saturday. Regardless of the slight issues we managed to work around them and had a fabulous time in rhodes!

Without being rude, this has been the worst hotel I have stayed at. We booked a double room and got 3 single beds, we were greeted with a roasting hot room and had to pay for ac per day, the ac was set on 25 and couldn’t change it! The room had a small ant colony in one of the corners of the room. The food selection at meal times is ridiculous, nothing labelled up so unsure what was what! The soft drinks tasted more like water thank anything else. The alcohol was also terrible The only all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at that I’ve spent more time eating out and can’t wait to get up and leave the hotel in the mornings, I will not be back and I dread it for other people arriving.
