Top of the Village

We stayed at top of the mountain from Dec 18-26. The unit was last redone in 1980. Everything is brown. The carpet. The sofas. Everything. And old. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone walk past your unit. The bedrooms have windows that face the walkway so there is very little privacy. The unit is so old that there’s a vhs player. All of the technology seems to be from this era. I think there should be rules about how long a unit can go without having to update appliances, carpet, etc. The washing machine hardly functions…… I could go on and on. Also, location wise this is technically ski in ski out but if you are not skiing, you have at least a mile walk to a restaurant, shop, etc. I’m not going to comment on the service because honestly with Covid, labor is a huge issue and there are problems everywhere……

Love the view, location, comfort. Has everything we needed.

Location is absolutely perfect. But, for the price, they need to do some updating. When everything is almost 40 years old, it is hard to be clean and comfortable. The beds were super worn. To the point where we tried the unused beds and they were also worn so we made a bed on the floor.

Top of the Village was wonderful. Communication was excellent between us and the staff. They were super friendly and accomodating. We would stay here again any day.

Very pleased with our 2 bedroom/bath condo. Kitchen was stocked and a gas fireplace in the living room. Parking was included and location was good. Only negative is the bedrooms are located on the outer edges so noisy when people walk by pulling their suitcases at 445am.

Great staff, condo we nice size and well equipped. It was very dusty and stuffy smelling needed a good airing out!

We did not like how dark it was, no views. spacious condo, very clean.

The apartment was very clean. Beds we're comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and the furniture and appliances were good quality.

Although description was king + 2 twin, it was actually king + 2 twin plus 2 built in bunk beds. Very nice. Comfortable, well provisioned, great location.

This place was amazing. Very clean and cozy. My kids loved the fire place and the beds. We were able to relax before our vacation came to an end.
