Aonang Paradise Resort

My friend recommended this resort for my company retreat. She had good experience stay years back when the resort was newly open. However, we had an unpleasant and disappointed stay. Breakfasts served daily were the same with few dishes and when requested for fried eggs, the chief gave an unhappy expression to my staff. At the end of the stay, my staff was asked to pay for a pair of beach slippers which was not place in the room at all. There were no reminder note of checking the room’s items and their house keeping is questionable. Do check the room items when check-in, so as to avoid unnecessary payment.

good thing about this hotel is the location which is in the middle of aonang town.quite dissapointed with the buffet breakfast. as a Muslim i dont have much choice over the food.they only have like 5-6 dishes and two of it is non-halal.the room was just okay.

Easy access to restaurants and shops. Many friendly staffs.

We were upgraded to the pool side m/t room with a beautiful view of the cliff/ limestone rock. This was great except when you come out of the room the swamp smell below the cliff is quite strong and spoils the view. The room is air conditioned so we couldnt smell it once your inside the room. But there was no way to enjoy the view when you sit outside. It was walking distance from the beach and shops and restaurants. So that was good. Ao nang is far from krabi town, but we liked ao nang. Overall staff was friendly and good. The hotel was pleasant overall except for the smell.

Its a neat little place. The up side - its location near all sorts of eateries and massage. Hotel staff recommended wanee massage which was at the right hand side down the street. Excellent. Love the view in the hotel and its a pleasant walk to the beach. About 10 mins. You won't feel it coz there are so many shops that u can either stop buy and buy yourself a cooling cocktail while u walk. The location is best of all. Downside - bed is hard and our room is next to the drain. It smells. However, inside the room is ok

It was a really good experience staying there. Perfect for couples. Rooms are big and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. About 10 minutes walk to Ao Nang beach. A lot of restaurants and convenient stores outside of the hotel. But the hotel serve the same food every morning for breakfast. I stayed there for 4 days so I've had the same soggy food every morning lol. But a good stay overall!

Nice hotel in a good location . Some improvements going on during our stay did not really affect the time spent there.

It was an great resort, except: the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were extremely stiff and the room smelled like urine steadily after the scented candle they had went out. The view was great and the private bungalow feel was nice. Couldn't get over that smell though, luckily we were only there the one day. Location was alright, decent restaurants around that were affordable and not too far to the beach.

Very relaxing, Hotel room is clean and the staffs are friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff, lovely quite spot, 400m or so from the beach but a pleasant walk and away from any noise etc. Lovely view from the pool and very quiet and secluded. Recommended.
