"Affordable Anchorage"

Good value for money in Anchorage. Friendly, helpful staff who make you feel at home. Included budget breakfast with something for everyone. The free airport and downtown shuttle is great for people without transport. The onsite Rice Garden does generous portions of American and Chinese meals at good prices. Make sure you go to the nearby Lucky Wishbone for a homely 1950s diner meal.

It's a 1.3 mile walk along a busy road into town and the attractions and restaurants so use the shuttle.

"A OK place to stay in Anchorage’s pricey summer months."

Easy to find (next to main road), with restaurant on property, clean.

Noisy, mediocre breakfast, staff didn’t know where food items were and ran out of food after 8:30AM.

"ONE TO AVOID"

Nothing about hotel was likeable, even the airport pick up had attitude.

This was one of the worst hotels I had ever stayed in, out of a few thousand. The setting, the location, the room all not what I expected from the photos ( it looks nothing like them) or reviews. The room door barley closed and we couldn't lock it and actually felt unsafe, the room stank of something and the floor bathroom etc were not clean. It was so bad we actually checked into another hotel. ONE TO AVOID.
