Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar Falls - Waterloo by IHG

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Pretty quiet as far as hotels go. The breakfast was nice as well. Would def stay again!

When we arrived we just dropped off our bags and left for an event, not checking the cleanliness of the room. When we got back in the evening my mother went to take a shower and found a very dirty shower and mold on the bathroom ceiling. It was late so we made the best of the room and asked for it to be cleaned in the morning. When we returned in the afternoon the next day, the room had not been cleaned. We were moved to the room across the hall. The room was cleaner, but it was not great. The swimming pool area had no curtains on the windows and the area faced a bar next door. The overall feel of this hotel is that it needs some attention.

The hotel was full with a nearby State Trap Shooting event nearby. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The doors don’t slam loudly like most hotels so it was quiet considering it was full with lots of kids. Ice makers are on every floor. The fridge was a nice size with freezer section and it was quiet. There is a microwave. There is a full length mirror with shelf and electrical outlet outside the bathroom which I appreciate. The hotel is in a good location. Dairy Queen is right there and many other food options & shopping are within a couple miles. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine. Bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage links, yogurt, oatmeal, warm cinnamon rolls, apples & bananas.

This is not a 3 star property. The employees seem overworked. There was regularly no one at the front desk. The smell on the 3rd floor was disgusting due to persistent issues with the guest laundry facility.

We stay here every year for state trap competition And I must say this year was a much better experience than last year. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good and plentiful, and everything was very clean. The only thing I would add is a little more parking

The breakfast was excellent! We really enjoyed it; in fact it helped us to make the decision to stay there again.

When we arrived they gave us a key to a room which was occupied. We opened the door and someone was in there.
