Posta Donini 1579 - UNA Esperienze

La struttura è stupenda, una villa storica che è anche possibile visitare con la guida della gentilissima proprietaria. Colazione ottima, piscina comoda ed elegante, camera standard pulita e comoda. Posizione perfetta per vedere tutta l'Umbria.

I bagni sono un po' retro, senza finestra e senza aspiratore, comunque comodi e pulitissimi.

Great service at the bar and restaurant, with staff who were attentive and friendly. The pool area was clean and relaxing, and the garden beautifully maintained, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. However, I was a bit disappointed that access to the spa facilities (such as the sauna and steam room) required an additional charge. While I completely understand paying for treatments, I feel that basic access to these facilities should be included. Overall, though, it’s a very calm and enjoyable place to stay.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Charme.

Parkplatz vermittelt kein gutes Gefühl. An Wochenenden, wenn auf dem Gelände Feiern stattfinden, muss man ausweichen und um die Ecke parken. Wellnessbereich ist kostenpflichtig. Nur 2 Sorten Wein (1 rot / 1 weiß) in der hoteleigenen Bar. Um mehr Auswahl zu haben, sollten wir in das anliegende Restaurat gehen (Auskunft an der Bar). Dort angekommen (wir wollten regionale Weine probieren), schickte man uns zurück in die Bar. Grund dafür: wir wollten nichts essen. Es war sehr unangenehm für uns vom Tisch aufzustehen und zu gehen. Dabei standen mehrere Tische frei.

Lovely, helpful staff for my oat milk coffee. The spa was good and Chiara very friendly and nice.

The restaurant menu could have had more options.

We selected the Posta Donini hotel as a central location for our two week travels in the Umbria, Tuscany and Marche countrysides. It was the perfect location, convenient to the many wonderful small towns and larger cities in the region. The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished and reasonably priced, the grounds are park-like and the breakfasts (included) were a great start to each day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially a woman named Elena who cheerfully greeted us for breakfast before many of our daily travels. There was some building construction going on during our stay at the hotel but that didn't adversely impact the experience. Posta Donini was the absolute right choice for our vacation.

We spent 4 nights during Ferragosto (Italian holiday peak) and everything was impeccable. The staff was very kind and attentive, especially the breakfast crew. The pool was very clean and refreshing. They organised a very rich buffet for the night of Ferragosto. The food was delicious. We really appreciate the atmosphere and the overall approach to hospitality.
