A very nice Italian style hotel.Wonderful place, clean and comfortable.. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also they have a great restaurant.

An oasis of calm. Good location for sightseeing around Perugia, Assisi and central Umbria. Full breakfast with lots of choice (not just Italian cakes). Spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Our second stay and we plan to return again.

We stayed at Posta Donini for two days during our tour. What a beautiful hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very accommodating and friendly and the breakfast had so many delicious choices! We loved our stay!

We just finished 2 beautiful days at Posta Donini and are sorry we could not stay longer. We are on a tour and must go when they tell us to go but we hope to come back again soon. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained! The food was delicious and we had a wonderful wine tasting. The part that made our trip so memorable though were the people who made us feel so welcome. Carmen was one of the first people we met when we arrived and she greeted us so warmly and sincerely that we knew this would be a great experience! Throughout our stay, her smile and personality made us feel like family. Vittoria also was a wonderful host and made our stay memorable ! We have stayed in some beautiful places on our tour of Italy but this place is certainly at the top of the list!

Posta Donini is a well-maintained and comfortable hotel, with exceptionally friendly service, particularly from the breakfast staff, who were attentive and welcoming. The rooms are clean, and the setting offers a peaceful walk through the surrounding countryside, which adds to the charm. The town in itself has really nothing special, compared to other towns in Umbria. However, while the basics are well executed, the overall experience lacks a memorable or distinctive touch. The hotel feels a bit uninspired and is best suited for a short stay of one or two nights. Unfortunately, during our visit, a significant portion of the property was under construction, and we were not informed of this in advance. This limited access to several parts of the hotel and detracted from the experience. It’s also worth noting that Posta Donini functions as a wedding venue. Depending on the timing of your stay, the hotel may be particularly busy or noisy, and there is no guarantee the staff will inform you in advance of any events. In short, while the comfort and service are commendable, the rather plain atmosphere make it difficult to recommend for an extended stay.
