Posta Donini 1579 - UNA Esperienze

We stayed one night. The restaurant was fully booked (I have never experienced this before in a large hotel). The Spa was overcrowded with noisy young people. So I can only comment on the room. The room was spacious and clean with a good shower. I would not stay again as there are other hotels in the area that provide a more cost effective service, given the limitations I experienced.

Per il week end di San Valentino siamo stati in questa splendida struttura (per la terza volta) circondata da un meraviglioso parco. La camera molto bella, arredata con gusto e con una splendida vista sul parco. Una chicca e' stata la presenza di un comodo e romantico letto a baldacchino. Bagno funzionale e molto luminoso . Nonostante il ristorante fosse chiuso per lavori , abbiamo potuto festeggiare San Valentino cenando nelle ex Scuderie , ambiente raffinato e ottimo menu..Il buffet colazione soddisfacente per scelta e qualità. Abbiamo usufruito della spa , molto pulita e ben attrezzata. Il personale tutto sempre gentile e premuroso.

Soggiorno molto soddisfacente bellissima location.Servizi al top.Posizione molto comoda per visitare l' Umbria.

Beautiful resort by Perugia, and I wished I could've stayed there longer! It was an absolutely gorgeous historical property and the room was supremely well appointed. The lobby feels so cozy and nice and the staff were wonderful! The breakfast is incredible and had a ton of choices and I'm sure the restaurant is amazing too, but we were there only for a festival in a nearby town so didn't get to sample it. There are beautiful gardens to walk through with the dog, and the area around feels like a real oasis and relaxation center. I would go back in a heartbeat and we absolutely loved this hotel.

Nothing, it was amazing!

Extremely disappointed- at check hardly any information was given, had to ask for everything, no explanation given about hotel facilities whatsoever. Price offered through hotel was more than double than on Booking.com. Specifically booked this hotel to use the spa, which has to be pre booked in advance and we were not told about it plus has Eur45.00 per person fee for 2 hours usage. No other hotel in Italy has such surcharge- what a rip off. Surely will never be back in this establishment.

Unique property. Good location for touring around Umbria

We had a suite on the second floor which had a huge room and large comfortable bed. There was a lovely view to the rear of the property, although one night we didn't sleep due to trees being cut down throughout the night. Bathroom was also a good size - one morning there water was only lukewarm which we assumed was due to a large group setting off early on a local tour. The staff were fantastic in the hotel and the breakfast lovely. We found the dinner restaurant disappointing and will review separately. The spa was also very nice, just needs a bigger changing area but the outdoor pool was too cold for us to be tempted. Overall a very enjoyable 3 nights.

Breakfast was outstanding. Really no lunch options. Dinner was served too late for our schedule. Not many other options without a car. We would have appreciated a salad bar for lunch option.
