Afton House Inn

This place is so cool and the history is awesome must visit place for people

The noise during the night was bad. Didn’t get much sleep. Unless you’re lucky enough to get people in the rooms next to you that respect rule and common sense

Enjoyable time spent at the Afton. My girlfriend and l thoroughly loved the experience. Will be back soon!!!

I hate to say this (really) because the staff were so nice and the location in the center of Afton is perfect (if you like quiet and idyllic). But the Afton House Inn is old and is showing the wear and tear. I certainly don’t need the latest and greatest but this Inn has definitely seen better days. Case in point is the massive jacuzzi tub that took up a significant portion of our room. It felt so 1980s when I’m sure the Inn was in its romantic heyday. That said, despite its age, the staff were so truly kind and helpful.

Wish the room had included a small fridge and ice machine on our floor. It’s a long walk to the kitchen for ice from room 6!

Very historic! Family run, friendly. Downside is cell phone reception can be difficult in places.

Our room was taken by someone else when we got there. We were given another room which was an "upgrade" but it faced the street, did not have a balcony or patio. The hot tub had missing and broken parts. It was a terrible experience. Once we found the 1 person who works her butt off there, she got us into a better room, actually it was our favorite room. She goes above and beyond. She even gave us some truffles. She also gave us 10% off Dinner, but then the hotel closed everything dude to weather (which didnt get bad until much later). We were told we were the only guests. We didn't get to use our discount, we didnt get to relax at all with all the changes. I get rooms like this when I am suffering from Burnout and need to relax and just get away. I was at a conference the week before and really just needed to relax. It was also my Huband's birthday present and it was ruined. Except for our wonderful lady! She is amazing or I would have given all 1 star for this trip, which was quite the opposite review we gave last time. If there are only 2 people in the hotel and you offer add ons, they should still be available to the 2 guests. Im not sure we will ever come back, cause if it snows it closes, its like you have to look forward in the weather to know if they will randomly close everything. This was a waste of 600.00 dollars and that's a shame, we were going to hold events here. I'm the VP for a company, and we wanted to do retreats here and such.

Good time

We love this hotel. We will for sure be coming back. It just has a cool vibe. The current was a great hang out spot. The vibes from the staff made it right. Thanks for the great stay.
