Afton House Inn

Hot tub was dirty when turned on jets - Didn't use. Bathroom was very small, fits only 1person at a time. No fridge or tables to put personal items. However, it did have that vintage old world feel, furniture, and amenities. The staff were friendly, and clean restaurants/bars.

Very nice place. Very classic style and great staff

There was no hot water in our jacuzzi tub or shower, the fireplace didn't work, they didn't have reserved hotel parking spots & we had to park blocks away. There was only 2 pillows & the way they advertised that the water in the room costed additional money was in a deceitful manner. For $200 it wasn't worth it.

The room was so unique and in what we think was original condition. It was quaint and cozy and the jacuzzi e was amazing! The staff, Justin, in particular was amazing.

Rooms outdated. Room itself stunk of sewage. Was expecting to use bottom floor for a room due to my wife being handicapped but that was not the case. Had to climb stairs instead of having a elevator. Charged almost 5.00 for 2 cans of pop. Talk about a rip off. Won’t ever go back to this place again. -5 stars.

Perfect honeymoon location or date night

The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. However, a man who described himself as the general manager rather aggressively introduced himself to me in the parking lot when I sat outside in my car finishing some business on my phone. This guy was a bit condescending as well - which is funny, because I am a 46 year old Naval Officer. I laughed it off, but it was annoying nonetheless.

We spent the night here and it was not quite what we expected. Pictures are a bit deceptive in size of rooms. But then the name Afton Hpuse Inn should have told us that. Queen beds seemed more like doubles. The system is on well water which we found heavy tasting and was surprised that we had to pay $3 for a bottle of water. Overall the stay was alright because of history and attached restaurant and bar with super service! For the price we will look for another venue when we come to visit son again.

The room wasn't quite what we expected. Very dated! I think the bed was a full when it was listed a queen. The bed was very uncomfortable! The food in the resturant was very good! Breakfast was good.
