Afton House Inn

Great weekend get away for our anniversary! Staff was very engaging and the restaurant served an awesome meal.

Proximity to Afton State Park was great. Servers were awesome!

We loved how they took a historic building and made it all so nice. The breakfast was awesome, the jacuzzi tub was fantastic and there was a wonderful wine shop right on site.

I loved the breakfast. That they kept as much as possible of the old fashioned look while being modern. I loved the wood. I didn't enjoy the mattress being very firm and the pillows being soft but that's because I prefer it the other way around. Its a beautiful property and friendly staff. It is not handicap accessible. If you can not easily walk up big steps and a steep spiral climb I would not stay there. The bathrooms are also small. The place is gorgeous and I enjoyed my stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Afton House. I loved that they walk you to your room when you check in and that there was breakfast in the AM. It's right downtown Afton with 2 restuarants and a wine bar on site. Many walking trails, ice cream shop, and cute stores to view.

That it was started back in the 1800's would have been nice to hear more of the history of how it has been kept up over the years. What I didn't like was that not all of the lights worked, the refrigerator needed to be defrosted.

Adorable little bed and breakfast, the staff was very friendly and room very clean. The property itself was about what you can expect for a building originally built in 1867! We had no issues at all and really liked the onsite restuarant as well as attached coffee shop. Would love to come back for a longer stay!

It is a historic inn, and therefore has all of the associated features of such: no elevators, squeaky floors, and small rooms, but it does have character. The town is small and quiet. The highlight is the ice cream shop.

Really amazed they have 3 restaurant areas to choose from. Maddie in the Swirl wine shop was fantastic! Afton is a quaint, picturesque area. Would like to come back on the motorcycle.
