FAIR AT BEST. NOT ENOUGH HOT FOOD CHOICES. ORANGE JUICE DISPENSOR RAN OUT. CROWDED NEAR HOT FOOD

A large group of us reserved rooms as we were traveling for 2 days of sports and we live an hour and and 40 minutes away. One of the parents rooms were canceled by the hotel and they had no rooms to replace. Not only that but they called on Wednesday and confirmed as well as emails. Pretty much were told oh well there isn't any rooms and nothing we can do. They then went from trying to charge $169 for a 1 double bed room for 1 night and went up to $311! The rooms and pool area were clean, the hotel itself was good. The service we received was absolutely awful!

The apparent "policy" that is set is a joke

Very nice, clean place overall, one of the better places I have stayed in Escanaba. Room was spacious.

The fitness room is very sparse, almost unusable. No dumbbells, no mats, and the one treadmill was broken. Couldn't get the elliptical going either.

The public hot tub- CHEMICAL OVERLOAD. You couldn't turn the jets on for more then 3 minutes with out chocking coughing and barley able to breath. There were 7 other people in there and complained about same issue. Asking me NOT to turn jets on. Point of a hot tub is for Jets to be used. I WENT TO FRONT DESK TO ADDRESS CONCERN for myself & others. The Front desk staff said they had an issue similar earlier in the week & she would Check the chemical levels. I left the front desk thinking the staff would address concern but NOTHING WAS DONE. we frequented the hot tub the next morning before leaving in hopes the concern was fixed however it WASNT. we still used the hot tub but were not happy with end results. We both showered and our skin was SUPER RED FROM IRRITATION from the IMPROPER CHEMICALS in hot tub. I took home a bottle of the hot tub water

The room was nice. It was clean.

The pool and hot tub were full of kids until closed. It would have been nice to enjoy the hot tub without the screaming kids at 10pm. Also the hot tub was not warm enough. It felt like a bath tab.

The property was clean and the room was spacious.

The front desk staff was rude and my rate was more than quoted online. The staff member would not even look at my confirmation. The rate was only different by $5 so it was not a big difference but the fact that the young lady was so unprofessional was uncalled for. My experience with the front desk staff on check in was definitely subpar.

The Comfort Suites is a nice place to stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, spacious, and well kept. Didn't really use any of the amenities. The breakfast had many cold and hot options. The only drawback for the breakfast was, not really enough seating. Although people were coming and going, I could see there might be times when there might potentially not be enough seating available. Otherwise, a nice establishment!
