Comfy beds, pleasant staff, nice roomy room. Clean bathroom, with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - great smelling. Nice breakfast too. We stayed on a Sunday night and arrived late, which made dining options few. If staying in Escanaba, which is a smaller town, be aware when arriving late on a Sunday. Nice size pool, but we didn't swim. Overall, everything was great.

"Super nice staff, but an issue with the final cost."

The front desk was fabulous. I don't know that I have ever encountered nicer folks at the front desk. Really everyone I met was friendly and helpful.

The one issue was the cost. When I booked the rooms on Booking.com, I was shown one price. When I checked in, I was given a higher cost. The person who checked me in said that they were having issues with the Booking.com site and that the tax would be removed so that what I was actually charged matched what Booking.com said it would cost. I assumed that would happen. I see from my credit card statement that it did not. That is a disappointment.
