Sunbreeze Hotel

VERY NICE

This is a solid hotel centrally located in San Pedro. We were here as part of a tour group and enjoyed our stay. It has great bones - big rooms, a lovely courtyard and pool, beach location and in the center of town. It could use a refurbishment but we felt very comfortable there. The location of our room was not great - we were right near the reception desk so could not open our shades - it didn't really matter as there was seating area right outside our room. They had coffee in the lobby so we were able to get coffee early and enjoy it outside. You can walk to a lot of places from the hotel (though it is chaotic on the street with all the golf carts!). There is a small spa on site which we took advantage of - highly recommend a massage there!

The Sunbreeze is a gorgeous property. Beautiful pool overlooking the beach and ocean. Super friendly folks. Spacious room kept super clean. Best restaurant on the island just down the hall on the beach

Great place right on the water. Dive company right there on the dock, plenty to eat/drink there or short walk along the beach. Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff!

Great location

Our room smell bad . Room was not ready at 2pm at time of check in . It really ruined our itinerary . The lady in the reception area told us 45 more minutes then after 30 minutes she told us another 45 minutes . She did not even apologize for the inconvenience The other staffs like the ones that helped us with our luggages were nice though .

Everything you want in a beach hotel: clean rooms facing the beach, lush tropical courtyard with pool, amazing onsite restaurant/bar, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location close to bars and restaurants in town. Lots of repeat customers, some who have been coming for 20+ years. That speaks volumes.

Well located near all that you’d want in San Pedro. Supremely walkable. The main issues we had was some staff making lots of noise in the morning. The best example was the staff with his walkie talkie squawking and clicking loudly around 8am as he dragged chairs across the outside hallway. This was right outside our room and there was no effort to be quiet. Also there two dirty plates sitting on the stairs up towards the roof which we passed for 2 days until they were finally removed. The friendliest employees were the bartenders and servers, by far. We enjoyed our time in the restaurant and bar. In sum, great location but not as welcoming or relaxing in the mornings.

We have visited San Pedro 15+/- times over the past 30 years and loved it every time. We have stayed at 1/2 dozen different resorts. This property has a great location. Across the street from the airport, on the beach, close to downtown/restaurants. The accommodations are decent but we stayed in better for less money. No water jug in the room, you have to go downstairs to get drinking water and ice. You also had to go to the lobby to get coffee or use a microwave. You are not allowed to bring anyone back to the property with you even if it’s just to sit in the quart yard and visit. This was an issue for us because we visited the island with 16 other individuals that we travel to San Pedro with regularly. They did not all stay at our location and we couldn’t have even one of them back to hang out or take a swim. Cameras are hung everywhere so you can’t get anyone into your room. I was ill a few days of our stay and received a nasty note twice because we ask housekeeping to skip us while I was ill. They want into your room everyday. We will avoid staying there again.

The property is across the street from he airport making checking in amazing, once in you can relax and set up your golf cart rental. The golf cart can be delivered to your hotel. Centrally located easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars.
