Lost a room due to toilet wasn't working didn't offer a refund. Then one I The other rooms we had booked no water in the bathroom told them and just got pushed off to someone else and again no discount was offered.

Location, close to city and shopping. The staff are nice.

My room. It reeked of cigarettes. As if someone's grandad had been smoking in there for 50 years, not just overnight. I am asthmatic and could barely breathe. I sprayed a whole bottle of perfume to try and mask the smell. It made me immediately feel unsafe and unsure of what I had got myself into being a single traveller on holidays wanting to enjoy cairns. The grass was unkept. The rubbish bins were full. There was loud rap music playing downstairs till 9.45pm. The fridge didn't work, so my milk went off, not that I would have eaten in this room. I cried that first night, its illegal to smoke in hotels. The smell was really confronting and the music was so loud, it was so bad, so much so that I cancelled the second night. I am trying to get a refund now. 😭

Good size room, self-contained

Need some reno,I had a room with a door to the next door room and the neighbours where noisy!

Room was very dirty, curtains was mouldy walked out of the room to go to our car too see maggots on the walkway
