We had a lovely stay here. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite not being right in the centre, it is so worth it. The setting is beautiful and there is a cut through to get to the shops, bars and restaurants. Otherwise you can get a shuttle for €2. The breakfast is the star of the show with fresh produce everyday and fantastic views whilst you eat. We hope to be back again in the future.

Maria, die Hoteleigentümerin, ist - wie ihr Team - die Freundlichkeit in Person, wir sind noch nie herzlicher aufgenommen worden. Jeden Morgen gibt es ein wundervolles, selbstgemachtes Frühstück mit lokalen Köstlichkeiten, alles frisch zubereitet und unter Verwendung lokaler Zutaten. Maria erklärte uns immer ausführlich was genau sie uns zubereitet hat. Sie und ihr Team haben und stets verwöhnt und besonders herzlich bewirtet. Dazu das tolle Haus mit sehr guter Lage über Sorrent mit phantastischer Sicht über die Bucht von Neapel. Unvergesslich ist es den Sonnenuntergang über Ischia auf der Trassezu bewundern. Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt, wir haben jede Sekunde genossen! Vielen Dank, liebe Maria, und bis hoffentlich bald wieder!

A truly unforgettable experience. Maria, our host, was absolutely lovely and so helpful. She would hand make breakfast for her guests every morning, and they were absolutely delicious. Made with love! Enjoying a homemade breakfast of Italian cakes and pastries, quiche, and fruits from her garden, while overlooking the beautiful town of Sorrento and the water was an experience we’ll never forget. On our last day, Maria introduced us to an old song that holds special memories, and shared with us some recipes of some of the dishes she served to us. This is truly special to me, as I am a keen baker myself and will definitely think of her and Sorrento when I make them for my friends and family. Maria and her fabulous team is what made this place truly amazing. We stayed in a room overlooking the bay and it was gorgeous waking up each morning and setting out into our balcony and admiring the pristine view. The room was generously sized, as was the bathroom, and all spotlessly clean. We felt like we had a room in our very own palazzo! The walk to the town is about 20 minutes and on a steep hill, but it’s not too bad and the views are worth it. With a bit of planning (half an hour in advance), the staff are able to organise a shuttle from Sorrento train station to a neighbouring hotel for a small fee, which is good if you have a suitcase. Don’t stay anywhere else in Sorrento. Book this. The memories you create will be priceless.

What a wonderful experience at Maria’s Villa! It is set in the hills above the Piazza Tasso, a peaceful retreat in the middle of lemon and olive trees with stunning views of Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Our room was spacious, very clean, with lots of natural light. The food was amazing - a delicious quiche, homemade baked goods, fresh lemonade, all made from her heart. Even more was her hospitality, she welcomed us in the morning explaining all that was prepared for breakfast, including baked goods she prepared herself… it felt like a warm hug. What a peaceful retreat above the busyness of the city center, but close enough to be a few minutes away by shuttle from a nearby hotel or by a car ride from Maria herself! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. We highly recommend Maria’s Villa… you will not be disappointed.

From the moment we were welcomed, the owner personally greeted us, making the experience feel incredibly warm and special right from the start. The hospitality throughout our stay was genuine and thoughtful. Breakfast was another highlight. Everything was homemade, beautifully prepared, and offered a great variety. You could truly taste the care and quality in every dish. All of the staff were lovely, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. What made our stay even more memorable was that we were visiting for our honeymoon. The owner kindly congratulated us and prepared champagne and sweets as a surprise — such a thoughtful and touching gesture that we will never forget. When it was time to leave, they even walked us out to say goodbye, which perfectly reflected the level of care they give to their guests. If we ever return to Sorrento, this will absolutely be the place we choose again without hesitation. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

This villa offers a truly luxurious and unforgettable experience. Nestled in stunning surroundings, the walk up through fragrant orange and lemon trees feels effortlessly elegant, opening out to breathtaking views over the sea. The continental breakfast was amazing, with a wonderful selection of homemade cakes that were absolutely delicious. Every detail reflects care and sophistication, while the staff provide impeccable, attentive service throughout. Maria, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Thankyou 😊
