Worth a stay at this wonderful location just for Maria’s delightful breakfast experience with warm homemade baked goods, fresh daily cheese, savoury quiche made from local ingredients, and the freshest produce from the area! Beautiful views — and while you’re not in the centre of town, Maria’s always friendly and efficient staff will arrange inexpensive shuttle rides in partnership with a nearby hotel. Wonderful memories of this place with its fragrant blooming lemons, oranges and olives at every turn!

The Villa Oriana Relais was set on the slopes of Sorrento, overlooking the town and a view of the bay. Set in the tranquillity of a lemon grove, the Villa offers a peaceful and very comfortable accommodation - we had a deluxe Double room, which was spacious and a private courtyard with 2 sunbeds. There is a path leading down the hill to the town - a fairly gentle up and down the pathway, however, if walking is not your thing, a shuttle service is provided by a nearby hotel for 2 euros, dropping one off at the train station. A sumptuous breakfast of freshly baked cakes/tarts (the potato mozzarella & tomato tarts were exceptional).

Maria, the owner, is a fantastic hostess. She and her sister make homemade cakes and tarts. The setting is beautiful- overlooking the sea and Vesuvius. The hotel is set up on a hill surrounded by lemon trees and rosemary. It is what you expect from beautiful Italy.

Het ontbijt is fantastisch met veel lokale ingrediënten. Doordacht en compleet.

De architectuur en het interieur was klassiek en prachtig.
