We had a fantastic stay at Villa Oriana Relais. Maria and the entire staff were so welcoming. Real hospitality professionals. The breakfast was amazing with all the home made delights, amazing view and the staff so helpful with tips, recommendations and bookings for restaurants and excursions. We can really recommend it and would love to return one day!

A Perfect Stay in Sorrento – Can’t Wait to Return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Oriana Relais! The setting is stunning – surrounded by lemon and orange groves, with peaceful views and a wonderfully calm atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. The owner, Maria and staff were exceptional – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, even with my (sometimes demanding!) family. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. And the breakfast – absolutely spectacular! The presentation was beautiful, and you could truly feel the family’s history and pride in every detail and every dish. It was one of the highlights of our stay. This is truly a special place that captures the charm and heart of Sorrento. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Italy. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special. The warm welcome from the staff made us feel immediately at home. Every detail at Villa Oriana is immaculate, beautifully maintained and full of charm. Also pleasantly surprised to have Dyson hairdryers! Breakfast each morning was a highlight with Maria’s homemade dishes made with local ingredients. Every breakfast was delicious and made with such care. Villa Oriana is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth and hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again.

Exceptional place! Very luxurious, highly maintained private facility, with extremely spacious room and bathroom with both a tub and a shower, spotless clean and elegantly decorated, combining old and new in a harmonious perfection. The staff is very friendly, and even the breakfast is well thought out of what is served and how. Highly recommended, one of the best places we ever stayed in. Thank you!

Wow - this was an unforgettable stay and capped our trip off in the best way possible. From check-in to check-out, we had the most special time here at Villa Oriana Relais. After a spent day-trip out to Positano, we checked-in at the Villa at sunset. We were immediately offered a lemon beverage and pastry which we enjoyed on the stunning balcony watching the colours of the clouds change into streaks of pink and gold. It was nothing short of magical. My parents were speechless at how beautiful the view was - the coast and mount Vesuvius all at sunset AND enjoying the most homey and loving treat. I think I will always remember this moment. The rooms were spotless. My sister and I enjoyed the fireworks at night and jokingly convinced it was for our arrival. There's always something to celebrate in Sorrento! There were so many wonderful amenities here: hydropool, lounge chairs, a wonderful garden, and a stocked bathroom. The staff are so friendly - attentive but not overbearing. It was a special treat when one of the staff members spoke Chinese to my parents! She was so friendly and just a lovely person. And Maria - wow what a special human. Enjoying a breakfast handmade by her and her staff is how I'd love to spend all my mornings. It is clear how passionate she is of her craft and her home. There are so many thoughtful details in our stay here that makes it a level above the rest. I am so thankful to the team here at the Villa for making this a highlight of our travels. This was an excellent place to stay in every respect. The location near all the activity, restaurants, historic centre and connections to other places that Sorrento offers in a peaceful and beautiful location. The availability of the shuttle when the steep climb didn’t appeal.. The delightful building with a large, attractive room and all the facilities we required. The wonderful view with the changing landscape every day and a new vista of Vesuvius to enjoy. Although there is no evening dinner service, Sorrento offers everything you could want and the Hotel Cristiana a couple of minutes away was very good the evening we tried it. I may have left this to the end, but the people who run Villa Oriana are superb. Friendly, available and helpful at all times, they clearly want to please their guests throughout their stay. And the breakfasts! A wonderful and always changing selection, all fresh and delicious with Maria’s daily home-made cakes in pride of place. Villa Oriana Relais is MAGICAL! Our three night stay was absolutely superb. The staff is the best we have experienced when compared to the very best cruise lines and hotels on the planet. No joke. Our accommodations were first class! The daily breakfasts were exquisite and extremely tasty! Homemade cakes, breakfast items that are unequaled anywhere we have travelled. Well worth the stay. We will go out of our way the next time we are in southern Italy to stay at Villa Oriana Relais! Ciao Ciao for now!

Villa Oriana Relais was the PERFECT way to end our 10 day visit to Italy for our 10th wedding anniversary! The hospitality and warmth of the staff feels genuine and was delightful. The breakfast spread was so delicious and beautiful 🤩 as well as the VIEW- Jaw dropping! The location is great if you are able-bodied and can take the walk down the hill to Sorrento as we needed some exercise with all the delicious food we consumed on this trip. The incline on the hike back up was a healthy challenge—I even did it in uncomfortable heels one night and survived fine😝 Be sure to take advantage of the rooftop as it is a great place to reset with the sun ☀️

From the moment we arrived, our experience at Villa Oriana Relais was exceptional. We were warmly greeted and offered a complimentary glass of fresh lemonade and homemade cake on the beautiful balcony overlooking Sorrento — all before even beginning the check-in process. By the time we had relaxed and started our one-on-one check-in, our luggage had already been taken to our room. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided detailed information about Sorrento, made our dinner reservations, and even organised our ferry tickets to Positano. Everything was handled seamlessly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. As if that weren’t enough, breakfast the next morning truly exceeded all expectations — without a doubt the best we’ve had in Europe during our six weeks of travelling. Every item was freshly prepared using local ingredients, and it was absolutely divine. We can’t recommend Villa Oriana Relais highly enough, and we’re already looking forward to returning as soon as we can.
