Scottish Inns Galveston

A bit older property, but a reasonable value for money. The customer service team were really friendly and helpful. Overall not a bad stay for a quick overnight before our cruise.

Too many srairs. No elevators. Coffee not ready till 8am.

Needs alot of tlc everywhere

Older couple.it was a lot of stairs, wish we had known in advance. Outlets didn’t work in some places and a lamp didn’t work. It was clean but worn, except bed skirt was stained pretty badly

Horrible experience. There was a worker working on the fence at all hours. Left his tools all over the walk way, there was no elevator to bring our belongings upstairs. Asked when we stayed if the worker would be doing work On the fence again and was told no then he started at 6pm! Called and asked for a refund but was told the owner wouldn’t be back for 2 weeks. The hotel is at the end of the road and nothing is close by, if you don’t shave a car you have to uber to everything.

Clean remodeled room with tile flooring, with microwave and fridge. I did not see an iron or ironing board, but that was ok for one night. Great deal for lodging and parking while cruising for 9 days. If you are looking for a budget-friendly place, this is it. They offer transportation arrangement with a third party to the port, you sign in upon check in, and they will pick you up and take you to your cruise very affordable.

Its close to the port and the ferry, and it has a pool.

The lobby closed early, and we needed towels to shower. The sign says that its supposed to stay open till midnight, and it was closed by 9 or 10pm. The pool was FREEZING, and the balcony banisters are so loose it's terrifying.

This was our second stay and when we checked in we asked if there would be working going on, we were told no and put into the same room as our first stay. Unfortunately they started working at 5pm

We left the property because the workers were using a grinder on the metal fence it was extremely loud and we had already asked to be in a room away from it. Oh also, the is the last hotel on the island and isn’t close to food or within walking distance of anything except the ferry.
