HOSHINOYA Okinawa

Nice property worth to spend some time to explore the ground and join the activities offered. Great services, but wish the hotel offer better way to communicate with staff such as an APP with chat function. I asked a staff to make dinner reservation for me. But the only way I would know if the reservation was successfully made was through a notes leave in my room. I had to come back to hotel instead of just having dinner elsewhere.

The ocean was beautiful and could enjoy the view from the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed in many hotels and resorts, including a highly rated one in the Maldives, and this is my (and my family's) absolute favourite resort/hotel in the world! You do not experience understated luxury and 6-star service until you have stayed here. The rooms are simple, immaculately appointed with thoughtful touches, including 2 sets of pjs (1 for wearing outside your room around the resort, another softer cotton/linen set for bedtime). The bathroom is HUGE with a large tub and shower, there is also a full-sized refrigerator with coffee machine, microwave oven and hotplate (for some of the in-room dining options which have to be heated up or cooked). The views from our room (Fushi ocean front suite) were amazing, it's very relaxing to be able to wake up to the sound and view of the crashing waves every morning, the pool and lounge are fabulous (pool has a great view of the beach and sea as well). The only thing that I don't like about the resort is that it's too far away from the airport. I suggest stocking up food or snacks at convenience stores when you are coming back to the resort from somewhere. Also, there is no TV in the room and no gym, but these did not affect our stay. Finally, the service is 6 or even 7 stars!!! They were so so helpful with taxi and restaurant reservations, in-room dining breakfast is fabulous, and definite shout out to the cheerful Aoi from the restaurant who gave us wonderful handwritten recommendations on what to do around Yomitan! My family and I wished we could spend more time here, and I will definitely check out the other Hoshinoya resorts around Japan if they're anything like this one!

Great attention to detail. My companion has a dairy allergy and the staff was very accommodating. The grounds and facility is extremely beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Very comfort and relax

My wife and I visited Okinawa on our honeymoon and stayed at Hoshinoya. This was our favorite hotel/resort experience from our entire lives. The room itself was gigantic with incredible amenities and more than we needed—especially for Japan. The staff was the friendliest of anywhere I've stayed around the world. They offered really cool cultural experiences (some free and some at additional cost) that were really enjoyable and helped me appreciate the local culture. The service was exceptional with the two issues we encountered during our four-day stay. The view from the room and most of the resort is breathtaking, and you're right on the beach the whole time. The meals—both in-room and at the multiple on-site restaurants—are top-notch and some of our favorites from our two weeks in Japan. The pool and leisure areas felt private and exclusive even though they are shared by all guests, with plenty of room and so much space. This will forever be my favorite 'getaway' location and resort.
