"Worth checking out for a short stay"

The location is awesome in the rice fields but walking distance to the city, 2 minutes away there’s an awesome warung with delicious food. Beautiful view from the room if you’re staying upstairs. Room and bathroom were spacious, sockets near the bed, great lighting. Hangers for the clothes, shampoo and body wash provided and working refrigerator and hairdryer. Friendly and helpful staff.

WiFi was cracking multiple times a day, sometimes not working at all but fixed when asked so if you’re a digital nomad it might be annoying at times. Towels and bedding had some spots and holes in them. Very annoying, loud construction work which wasn’t mentioned in the description of the property and I think it should; sometimes it would start very early in the morning so no good quality sleep at all no matter the day.

Comfy bed

Difficult and dangerous bike access. Very poorly maintained property. Strong damp smell. Construction in progress right next to the property which causes noise all day long. Room not cleaned despite request.

"Lovely peaceful stay in the middle of the rice paddy’s watching the sunrise and sunset."

This place has the best value if you are looking for a rice paddy view away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre. This is exactly what I was looking for and what I got. Still a short walk or scooter ride to all the shops and restaurants.

The bathroom was really simple and could have benefited from conditioner and maybe some bug spray / mosquito repellent for the room if I was being fussy. You are trading peace and quiet for car access so be prepared to pack light to move by scooter or push your bulky suitcase by foot to get there. Don’t be surprised.
