"Generally a good stay, but improvements needed"

Generally a very nice hotel, clean and good amenities. The breakfast buffet was good and diverse overall. Great pool!

At the time of booking we were not informed about a massive construction site right next to the building. Even the hotel website or Booking.com description doesn’t mention this. My „panoramic Mountain View“ Room was overlooking the construction site and it was extremely noisy from 8am until 6pm. It was also missing the balcony I had specifically booked. When I brought this to the staffs attention, the lady at the reception desk was very defensive and not understanding at all. No compensation or room change was offered. Another small but mighty thing: PLEASE get a proper coffee machine for the breakfast restaurant! You cannot be serious serving instant coffee in a 4* resort!!
