Muthu Clube Praia da Oura

Beautiful location relaxed and the background music was fabulous. We walked and the grounds on the way to the restaurant were sublime. Restaurant complex dreamy, room is ample for 2 of us with a double ducuzzi on the veranda. The staff have been so friendly and knowledgeable. Chetan from the Manderin chinese restaurant was friendly attentive accomodating and could not do enough for us. Cleanliness was excellent and the check in was seamless. No issues with noise at all. Everything was lovely for the stay and if we did need anything I am sure we would have no issues getting it sorted. All things were provided in abundance. Amazing value for money, would recommend. Our jacuzzi was a nice surprise 😮. Room space smallish but you are really only sleeping in it. You use facilities and veranda.

Just back from a 3 night break with my boyfriend halloween weekend. Check in was abit slow and were told to come back around 5pm and we could leave our bags in a storage room. €100 cash security deposit is paid. We went and had a few drinks whilst waiting as we went all inclusive. I went back to reception around 3pm and our room was ready. We had a room in the luxury block which was amazing 👏 spacious clean big room with balcony that came with sun loungers and table and chairs. Room had separate bathroom and room featured air-conditioning television and kitchenette with all you needed for your stay. Staff were fantastic and very hard working. All meals were great with a choice of a different restaurant every night drinks were plentiful and a good choice. Loads of lounge areas along with the 2 pools one with kids pool and jacuzzi. Plenty of out door space the hotel is huge. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would most definitely return. Thanks to all at muthu Clube Praia da Oura hotel we had a fantastic holiday. Good experience with the entertainers leyanna and Boris ,we just participante in the walking fitness and we did petanca as well , hotel quite empty but we love it in general

Stopped by at the Mexican as part of our all inclusive package. It was great food with great service. I would 100% reccomend this

Just returned from a four night all inclusive break. We will certainly not be returning to this shabby, dated and run down place. I can’t even call it an hotel as it is a collection of self catering rooms with kitchens and not an hotel. Our flight was delayed and we did not arrive at the hotel until about midnight. We were not told we would need to book any speciality restaurants at the time and we were asked to handover a deposit of 100 euros. We were given our room number and made our way to our room. We were so disappointed when we finally got into the room, but we had to get some sleep and see the room in the daylight before complaining. I was awoken by the ventilation system on top of Jac’s restaurant which continued to make a screaming noise until we went to Reception to complain. When we complained we were told we had actually been given an upgrade - unbelievable. The room was very small, full of dated and scruffy mismatched furniture and awful damaged furnishings. It was dirty in a number of places - lampshade was thick with dust, bathroom door had dirty marks where it had not been cleaned where people do not use the door handle and have dirty hands. It did not look anything like the rooms shown on the website. So dissappointed. The balcony had some dirty, tatty furniture we would never use because it was so awful and anyway, there were people backwards and forwards past the balcony all the time, so no privacy whatsoever. When we complained, we were given another room in a quieter block - the luxury block no less. This was further away from everything, but that was okay for us. We discovered that in that room you couldn’t lock the patio doors to the balcony, but it was better than the last room. The finish in the room was shabby. The decor was badly finished and there were cleanliness issues in here also - including an infestation of ants one evening. We could only book one evening meal in a speciality restaurant - Indian Thali - which was the highlight of the stay. We kept getting told to come back to see if there were any cancellations, but there never were. The food in Jac’s buffet restaurant was okay, but nothing special but we had to eat there for all but that one meal. Didn’t see any entertainment - other than some half-hearted attempt at bingo one night. Drinks all served in plastic cups and the drinks were of poor quality. No access to tea or coffee after eating in Jac’s other than if you went to the dreadful Ocean Bar and that was only if the machine worked that day. The sauna is basically built in a shed … the pools were all mobbed all day. The food outlets and restaurants are basically a big con just to say there is such a great variety as you can’t get in them and most of them are in sister hotels next door. The grounds were okay, but the paths are a bit uneven and some dark areas. The access to the beach is okay and the coastline lovely. Some staff were okay others not … All in all what was supposed to be a relaxing chill out in a decent hotel, turned into a very disappointing trip. It looks like the place needs either knocking down and starting again or it needs millions spent to bring it up to a reasonable standard - it certainly was no where near 4 star.

This was the worst resort we’ve ever had the unfortunate experience of our lives! We paid over €6 and a half thousand for a family of 4 all inclusive. We were absolutely appalled at the conditions of our apartment compared to the pictures we were provided on this site! The dirt and filth was unbelievable & the conditions were like a hostel. We were moved to another apartment that was a bit better but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The all inclusive was a scam. The food was inedible and the drinks were watered down. No fresh orange juice, only cordial orange! The milk was powdered milk made from water.The food was so bad that we had to eat out after getting food poisoning from the food & my mother ended up in hospital when we got back to Ireland after contracting listeria. The only friendly, helpful staff was Kaio Brasso and Vicrum. The secretary with the orange curly hair was extremely obnoxiously rude, arrogant and unbelievably disrespectful! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
