Palatium Bad Ems

Ideally located with a beautiful view over the park and river. Lot of counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. Codes to enter are nicer than a key. The kitchen was perfect to prepare simple meals.

No shutters to keep darkness in the bedroom.

Perfect location - just 7-10 minutes to the Therme and big supermarket. Main train station is 10 minutes walk. Apartment has a pleasant design and basic equipment, new furniture.

There is no possibility to pay at the property, despite it was an option during the reservation! There is no any reception or stuff at the place. I think it should be corrected by Booking or host. The host just sends a link for online payment before arrival, which is particularly the same as to pay at the booking website. Unfortunately beds were not comfortable due to the mattress. Smoky smell in the apartment, that didn’t go away even after the ventilation

The location was great, right at the center of Bad Ems. It was easy to find a parking spot and using the easy park app i could pay 12euro for the whole stay. The apartment is close to all main attractions, wellness and shops.

We stayed there 5 nights, on the 3rd night we found COCKROACHES in the kitchen drawers and cabinets and under the fridge, i sent a message to the manager/owner, but i got no answer until the next day late in the morning offering to move to another apartment. We had been to the wellness during the day and since i had not received an answer, I had already cleaned the whole kitchen and bought traps to keep the roaches off our food. Needless to say, we were not able to relax during the rest of the stay. But considering we had only one night to go, and had no guarantee that the apartment we were offered would be better, i decided to stay our last night there. I was alone with my 10y old daughter and we needed to go 4 levels up/down with our luggage. Although it was easy to find parking, the street was closed and there was no indication of how to get there in a different way, so i had to go a lot around. So all too complicated to move. I will never go back to Palladium for a room after this experience. The apartment in general was not well cleaned/maintained, there was a leak in the bathroom tap making noise day and night. The apartment is cheap and now i know why.....

Good and quite place in the centre of Bad Ems. Apart is equipped and very clean. Enough space for two people.

Please fix the problem with the kettle (Wasserkocher). It's leaking.

The apartment was fine, clean and well equipped. It was spacious.

The apartment was on the 4th floor without an elevator. The road was closed due to construction work and we were not informed about this. So we hat to park the car quite far away.
