Palatium Bad Ems

I booked 2 apartments in the same building and both of them were absolutely great. Very clean, a lot of space and all the necessary stuff was included to have a great stay, like your own home. The location is perfect, with great space outside, in the park, for kids to play and enjoy the view of Lahn river. Very close nearby there is Therme (a Recreation Facility with swimming pools) and also a lot of restaurants and many different outlets. Very very quiet and nice place to stay and relax!

There is nothing to not like about this place

The apartment was extremely well equipped, and very spacious while centrally located in the old town, overlooking a park and with view of the hill/mountain. Quality of the facilities was excellent to the highest standard. The proprietor was quick in responding to messages at the start of the stay and throughout.

The only drawback, which I had overlooked (so my own omission), was that the property did not have its own parking, being centrally located in the historical town where parking is restricted. However, this was easily overcome as there was safe and unrestricted parking only max. 10 minutes walk away on the other side of the river. The host could inform guests about this possibility.

It’s a beautiful appartement. We liked the fully equipped kitchen to prepare our meals. The little balcony with park view would have been enjoyable but we had a rainy weekend. There was a problem with power when we arrived but a technician came by same day.

It was not easy to bring the water at the right temperature in the shower.

Palatium is the best apartament in Bad Ems

Clean, a lot of space, confortabil, everything what you need etc.

It is a good location close to the main attractions that Bad Ems offers.

The apartment was advertised as no-smoking and family-friendly. Unfortunately, when we arrived the place smelled like an old pub and the bonus was that someone was trying to cover that smell with some air refresher. I contacted the owner with a complaint, but the only suggestion was to cancel and go somewhere else. No apology, nothing. The instruction for the internet access which was sent in the email was wrong (correct information can be found at the entrance to the building). The TV was not working. No free parking in the area of the building.

Location quite central, neat property with mostly everything you need.

Property was advertised as containing a washing machine, and extra bed on request - neither were provided although I requested extra bed 2 weeks in advance.. The ad needs updating! There was no washing machine :( There is no lift so 3rd floor climbing stairs with heavy suitcases was a drain, the fire exit door opens to the roof without a child lock - is highly unsuitable and dangerous for families with young children who will go on the roof and just fall off and die! Property requires you to strip beds and other housekeeping tasks upon leaving.

The lodging was spacious, modern and comfortable. The location is excellent, with lots of walkable options for food and views. Stores for supplies are within a short drive.

While we were okay with it, guests should be aware that the lodging is up three spiral flights of stairs totaling 51 steps. And parking is a real challenge, especially upon arrival if before ~20:00.
