Breakfast was not the best and they charged $50deposit

dirty bedsheets, strong smoke smell in room, water damage all over the room, crumbs and food all over floor, hair all over the bathroom. i didn’t even sit down due to how gross it was. went to the front desk to ask for a refund and they said they couldn’t because the manager wasn’t in, called my booking service and they said they wouldn’t be in til the next day, called again the next day and they said the manager wouldn’t be in til monday, when i was told the next day. no manager on a weekend… with a huge car race (NASCAR) going on? seems weird to me but okay i guess.

Great for the price. Rooms has been updated some. Other items have not been updated like microwave and mini refrigerator and chairs. The rooms were clean. The stay was quiet.

The tub had mildew. Cleanliness is not a priority at this location

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was and Patel, the General Manager could not have been nicer and he gave me a ground floor room near the office and breakfast area! The king size bed was comfy, the pillows were soft, the shower was hot, and the A/C was cold… the room also had a refrigerator and microwave for my use and I don’t think I could’ve been more comfortable… I was in town for a senior softball tournament and I had fellow Ball Player staying at other chain hotels in the area paying twice as much as me complaining of very bad situations, including bugs in their rooms… smoke smells in their non-smoking rooms, etc. Thank you Rodeway and Patel… we will do business again!!!

I did not find anything with the property that I did not like!

Even thought we booked the room well ahead and paid in full, I was advised upon check-in that a $50 "security deposit" was required, which was totally unexpected. I was assured that it would be returned as soon as I checked out. When I checked out, I was told that the deposit would be returned to my card "in a few days". Not happy about that whole thing. If I had $ to spare, I wouldn't be staying at the Rodeway Inn to begin with. As to the room itself, it was reasonably clean, but had that air of "lipstick on a pig" - if you looked close, there were some pretty questionable elements, like a microwave with the interior shielding broken off and rust underneath (ewwww). The bed was clean and fairly comfortable, and all-in-all for a quick stay (we were only there one night), it was doable, but if I had to stay longer, I would pick another hotel. On the upside - even though we didn't go swimming, the pool looked really clean and sparkly, and the area around it seemed to be nice. One last thing - if you book a stay here, be warned - finding the entrance into the hotel is challenging, as it is not well marked. The Rodeway Inn shares the lot with the Econolodge, which is closest to the road. Look for the Econolodge sign on the front of the building, and turn in there.

Room was nice and spacious it was a plus for me being that they offer smoking rooms when most dont would definitely stay again
